TL;DR: In this paper, the influence of the penultimate chain element on the monomer transfer in living polymerization was treated according to Elias' kinetic scheme, and numerical results were discussed and compared with the molecular weight distribution curve for which a penultimate effect was not considered.
Abstract: The influence of the penultimate chain element on the monomer transfer in living polymerization was treated according to Elias' kinetic scheme. The Laplace transformation and a graphic method are used to obtain the exact solution of the molecular weight distribution functions. The numerical results are discussed and compared with the molecular weight distribution curve for which a penultimate effect was not considered.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors discuss the forced vibrations of the elastic shallow shell due to the moving mass by means of the variational method and present a series of problems such as the forced vibration, resonance conditions and critical speed and so forth.
Abstract: This paper discusses the forced vibrations of the elastic shallow shell due to the moving mass by means of the variational method. In the text mentioned above a series of problems such as the forced vibrations, resonance conditions and critical speed and so forth.

TL;DR: In this paper, the process of contact between an initially straight flat-ended elastic cantilever column with rectangular cross section and a rigid impacting mass with a small angle of incidence with respect to the axis of the column is studied theoretically.

TL;DR: In this article, generalized variational principles are established by the method of undetermined multipliers in structures, and analyze the statically indeterminate truss, in which these principles will be used.
Abstract: This paper will discuss the generalized variational principles, which are established by the method of undetermined multipliers in structures, and analyze the statically indeterminate truss, in which these principles will be used. At the same time we bring a symmetrical matrix and give specific solution, thus all the internal forces of structures may be found.

TL;DR: In this article, the field distribution of a point-to-plane corona discharge is demonstrated, and it is shown that the electric field near the sample foil tends towards uniformity.
Abstract: In this paper, the field distribution of a point-to-plane corona discharge is demonstrated. As a grid mesh is inserted between the needle and the plane, the electric field near the sample foil tends towards uniformity. This conclusion is supported by measuring isopotential surfaces of the alternating current field, which simulates the corona field. We also measure the surface-potential distribution of the foil charged by corona with grid. This experimental results shows that the field near the foil is virtually uniform.
