TL;DR: In this article, an analytic hierarchy process (AHP)-based approach was used to determine the key success factors from the management hierarchy on production, marketing, human resources, research and development, and finance.
Abstract: In this research, analytic hierarchy process (AHP)-based approach was used to determine the key success factors from the management hierarchy on production, marketing, human resources, research and development, and finance. Sixteen key success factors selected on the basis of previous literature were analysed by interviewing paperware packaging machinery manufacturers and experts. We find brand marketing, the establishment of the administration teams, standardised production, procedure management, factory-aimed designed production mix and localised sales service system, inventory management, and accounts receivable to be the six key success factors that are central to Taiwan paperware machinery industry. We hope this finding can assist paperware packaging machinery industry practitioners in Taiwan and other highly service-oriented production industries to achieve business success.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors presented an analysis of weather parameters and comparison among different models of the weather prediction from accessible parameters and finally derived a new technique for solar prediction in support of photovoltaic output power.
Abstract: An accurate forecast of weather is essential for obtaining energy from Renewable sources. The objective of this paper is to present an analysis of weather parameters and comparison among different models of the weather prediction from accessible parameters and finally deriving a new technique for solar prediction in support of photovoltaic output power. Artificial Neural Network model with 5 weather parameters from NASA POWER dataset have been utilized to predict the day-ahead solar radiation and evaluated against real data measured for 4 years at Agartala, India (Latitude 23.83° N and Longitude 91.282° E). Results detailed in this work confirm the best predicting potential of the proposed method. The proposed model has been shown to predict solar radiation with accuracy of 83% shows the robustness of the system.

TL;DR: In this paper, a study on fractal geometry based image compression has been carried out in Red-Green-Blue (RGB), Hue Saturation Intensity (HIS) and modified HSI colour space.
Abstract: A study on fractal geometry based image compression has been carried out in Red-Green-Blue (RGB), Hue Saturation Intensity (HIS) and modified HSI colour space and a comparative study has been carried out on Lena and Pine images. The modified HSI scheme incorporates the concept of non linearity in the saturation of the colour in the image. The nonlinear model of HSI scheme is more realistic approach than the traditional HSI colour space. The output results have been obtained in the form of compressed image. In modified non-linear model, the processing speed and Peak Signal to Noise Ratio (PSNR) have been found to yield greater value compared to the other method but compression ratio has been obtained with lower values. The non-linear saturation, despite being a more realistic phenomenon, the self-similarity in the image may be lower and this may be considered as the major reason for lower compression ratio and higher processing speed.

TL;DR: In this chapter, some basics of load flow analysis have been discussed along with N–R method and fast decoupled method ofload flow analysis that are applied to the online/offline studies of multi-bus power networks using developed soft computing techniques.
Abstract: Load flow analysis is essential to know the detailed description of a complex power network. Load flow solutions provide the basic computational techniques in order to determine the voltages at various buses and the power flowing through the elements of the system. In this chapter, some basics of load flow analysis have been discussed along with N–R method and fast decoupled method of load flow analysis. These techniques are applied to the online/offline studies of multi-bus power networks using developed soft computing techniques.
