TL;DR: In this paper, the authors describe a two-step process for the creation of a new laboratory-99m PERTECHNETATE in a first step and a second step is used by a REDUCING AGENT in a third step.
Abstract: A KIT READILY ASSEMBLED INTO ESSENTIALLY A PACKED CHROMATOGRAPHIC COLUMN FOR GENERATING TECHNETIUM-99M LABELED PHARMACEUTICALS IN A SIMPLE TWO-STEP PROCESS. TECHNETIUM-99M PERTECHNETATE IN A FIRST STEP IS ISOLATED AND ITS VALENCE STATE REDUCED BY ADSORPTION UPON A REDUCING AGENT. THEN THE REDUCED TECHNETIUM-99M IN A SECOND STEP IS ELUTED FROM THE REDUCING AGENT BY COMBINATION WITH AN IMMEDIATELY LABELED BIOLOGICAL COMPOUND, THE ELUANT PH IS ADJUSTED AND BUFFERED TO PHYSIOLOGICAL LEVELS AND BENIGN CATIONS ARE SUBSTITUTED FOR UNCOMBINED REDUCING AGENT AND ISOTOPE IONS. A NEW TECHNETIUM-99M LABELED RADIOPHARMACEUTICAL USEFUL IN LIVER IMAGING IS PRODUCED BY INTERACTION WITH THE COLUMN PACKING IN ONE SPECIFIC ASPECT OF THE PROCEDURE. D R A W I N G

TL;DR: In this paper, a review of coal, coke, and coal-derived solids is presented, covering methods of sampling, analyzing, and testing coal, coal, and coke derived solids covered during the period of October 1984 through September 30, 1986.
Abstract: This review covers methods of sampling, analyzing, and testing coal, coke, and coal-derived solids covered during the period of October 1984 through Sept 30, 1986. Energy Research Abstracts and Chemical Abstracts were used as the reference sources. In most categories the volume of material available made it necessary to limit the number of publications in the review. This review also surveys publications concerned with methods for the chemical, physical, and instrumental analyses of gaseous fuels and related materials. Articles of significance appearing in foreign journals and the patent literature that were not available at the time of the last review are also included. Chemical Abstracts and Energy Research Abstracts were used extensively as reference sources. Some selectivity was necessary in order to include the most pertinent publications in preparing this review.

TL;DR: In this paper, single crystals of cupric 3-pyridine sulfonate diluted in the diamagnetic zinc compound were prepared and observed for paramagnetic resonance and the symmetry of the magnetic complex is orthorhombic, with two of the g values only slightly different.
Abstract: Single crystals of cupric 3‐pyridine sulfonate diluted in the diamagnetic zinc compound were prepared and observed for paramagnetic resonance. The symmetry of the magnetic complex is orthorhombic, with two of the g values only slightly different. The ground state of the ion is dz2 which exhibits practically no orbital angular momentum along z. An analysis of the cupric hyperfine structure at room temperature has been performed, arriving at a value of the polarization of the core in very good agreement with the theoretical estimate. No nitrogen superhyperfine structure is resolved at room temperature, although experiments at 77°K show conclusively interaction with two equivalent nitrogens, which is interpreted in detail.
