TL;DR: Analysis of the underlying concepts of two groups of stakeholders with respect to social participation in health and the potential influence of these concepts on the effectiveness of policy implementation in Brazil finds likely influences are the evolution of the broader Brazilian social context and the traditional performance of health services.
Abstract: Social participation in management of the health care system at different levels of government is one of the key policies promoted by the Unified National Health System (SUS) in Brazil. As with any new policy, success hinges on several factors such as stakeholders' interests and opinions, which have not always been considered in the past. This paper analyzes the underlying concepts of two groups of stakeholders with respect to social participation in health and the potential influence of these concepts on the effectiveness of policy implementation. A case study of two municipalities in Northeast Brazil was conducted using a combination of qualitative and quantitative social science research methods. Health services users and community leaders were interviewed. Various concepts were found in which the participatory approach to health policies was only partially reflected. Likely influences on stakeholders' concepts of social participation in health are the evolution of the broader Brazilian social context and the traditional performance of health services. Particular attention should be paid to stakeholders' opinions and concepts if policy effectiveness is to be improved.

TL;DR: The seeds of cultivar pitiuba were is more tolerant to salinity, than the cultivars Canapu and Epace-10, and total proteins content in cotyledons were obtained from germinating seeds.
Abstract: This work aimed to evoluate physiological response of cowpea (Vigna unguiculata L. Walp) seeds submitted to salt stress. Seeds of cultivars 'Epace-10'; 'Canapu' and 'Pitiuba' of cowpea, were submitted to germination test in germinator at 250C, in "germitest" papers imbibed in distilled water or in 0, 10, 50, 100 and 200mol m-3 NaCl solutions. At the first and second counting of the germination test, normal seedlings were accounted, weighted and dried, obtaining data for vigor, total germination, fresh matter weight and dry matter weight. The seedlings hypocotyls, root and total length were measured total proteins content in cotyledons were obtained from germinating seeds. The presence of salt at concentrations higher than 50mol m-3 NaCl affect the germination, seedlings growth and cotyledons total protein synthesis of all cowpea cultivars. The seeds of cultivar pitiuba were is more tolerant to salinity, than the cultivars Canapu and Epace-10.

TL;DR: A new method to solve complex mathematical constraints such as constraints that include floating-point variables and transcendental functions is presented, which combines two existing methods: meta-heuristic search and interval solving.
Abstract: A challenging problem in symbolic execution is to solve complex mathematical constraints such as constraints that include floating-point variables and transcendental functions. The inability to solve such constraints limit the application scope of symbolic execution. In this paper, we present a new method to solve such complex math constraints. Our method combines two existing: meta-heuristic search and interval solving. Conceptually, the combination explores the synergy of the individual methods to improve constraint solving. We implemented the new method in the CORAL constraint-solving infrastructure, and evaluated its effectiveness on a set of publicly-available software from the aerospace domain. Results indicate that the new method can solve significantly more complex mathematical constraints than previous techniques.
