Olhares dos enfermeiros acerca de seu processo de trabalho na prescrição medicamentos na Estratégia Saúde da Família

Abstract: One of the advances in the Family Health Strategy (FHS) is the prescription of medication by nurses, which has brought the discussion together with the medical category. This study aimed at analysing nursse’s perception about this act as well as its regulation. The study is of qualitative approach, having as subjects four Nurses who perform in FHS in Sobral, Ceara. A questionnaire and the technique of focus group were used to collect data. The totality of the sample works in the rural zone and that only two had specialization. Nurses reported they are unsatisfied and unsecure related to the act of prescribing medication since the municipal protocols did not correspond to local reality. A review of the current nursing protocol for the municipality is suggested, making it suitable to complaints in the community, but without abandoning the priority of the preventive and community model that nursing performs. Hydroxyl Group and Vasorelaxant Effects of Perillyl Alcohol, Carveol, Limonene on Aorta Smooth Muscle of Rats

Abstract: The present study used isometric tension recording to investigate the vasorelaxant effect of limonene (LM), carveol (CV), and perillyl alcohol (POH) on contractility parameters of the rat aorta, focusing in particular on the structure-activity relationship. LM, CV, and POH showed a reversible inhibitory effect on the contraction induced by electromechanical and pharmacomechanical coupling. In the case of LM, but not CV and POH, this effect was influenced by preservation of the endothelium. POH and CV but not LM exhibited greater pharmacological potency on BayK-8644-induced contraction and on electromechanical coupling than on pharmacomechanical coupling. In endothelium-denuded preparations, the order of pharmacological potency on electrochemical coupling was LM < CV < POH. These compounds inhibited also, with grossly similar pharmacological potency, the contraction induced by phorbol ester dibutyrate. The present results suggest that LM, CV and POH induced relaxant effect on vascular smooth muscle by means of different mechanisms likely to include inhibition of PKC and IP3 pathway. For CV and POH, hydroxylated compounds, it was in electromechanical coupling that the greater pharmacological potency was observed, thus suggesting a relative specificity for a mechanism likely to be important in electromechanical coupling, for example, blockade of voltage-dependent calcium channel.

Consulta de enfermagem ao portador de hanseníase no território da Estratégia da Saúde da Família: percepções de enfermeiro e pacientes

Abstract: The present study aims to identify difficulties for the nurse so that he can reflect and create strategies to improve the quality of the nursing consultation and follow-up for patients with leprosy and to understand the perception of the patient in relation to the attendance structure and nursing follow-up. From the results we note that in the nursing consultation, the creation of a bond of confidence was sought with the client with the objective of receiving information on their treatment as well as on any disabilities. Regarding the difficulties confirmed by the nurses, they are related to the organization conditions of health services which causes a high demand. In relation to the perception of patients regarding the nursing consultation it was shown, in general, quite satisfactory.
