TL;DR: Three new species of the glossoscolecid earthworm genus Righiodrilus are described from material collected in northern Pará and Maranhão States, Brazil and the genus is provided with an updated key and a distribution map.
Abstract: Three new species of the glossoscolecid earthworm genus Righiodrilus are described from material collected in northern Para and Maranhao States, Brazil. Rhigiodrilus gurupi n. sp. is characterized by four pairs of post-testicular spermathecae in xiv–xvii. Rhigiodrilus viseuensis n. sp. is distinguished by tubercula pubertatis in xix–xxiii and clitellum in xvi–xxiii. Rhigiodrilus moju n. sp. is the only species in the genus that lacks tubercula pubertatis. We provide an updated key and a distribution map for all species of Righiodrilus .

TL;DR: The cropping system (soybean) had the lowest abundance and species richness in relation to other sites, although in the young and old forests no earthworms were found on some sample dates, and further efforts are needed to adequately characterize the earthworm fauna of the region.
Abstract: The Campos Gerais region of Parana are on an ancient plateau of sandstone origin and are covered with a diverse vegetation including mainly grasslands and various types of Atlantic Forest (particularly Araucaria forest). The region represents an important natural capital for biodiversity conservation as well as for agricultural and forestry production. However, little is known of the species richness and diversity of soil macroinvertebrates in this region. In the present study we evaluated earthworm species occurrence and richness in five land use systems (LUS) in the southern part of the Campos Gerais in Lapa county. Earthworms were handsorted from up to 18 soil monoliths on five occasions over three years (Feb. 2014, Feb., Mar., Nov. 2015, Jul. 2016) in the following LUS: old native forest, native grassland, young regenerating forest and grass lawn in the Uru Reserve and annual crop fields (soybean) in neighboring private farms (not all systems were sampled on all occasions). Nine earthworm species belonging to four families and five genera were found, of which six were native and three exotic species (Dichogaster gracilis, Amynthas gracilis, A. corticis). Of the native species, Urobenus brasiliensis and Andiorrhinus duseni (a large bodied-worm) are already well known from S and SE Brazil, while the remaining four were new species that require further description (Fimoscolex n.sp.1 and n.sp.2, Glossoscolex n.sp.1 and n.sp.2). In general, more species were found in February (summer) than March and November. The cropping system (soybean) had the lowest abundance and species richness in relation to other sites, although in the young and old forests no earthworms were found on some sample dates. Given the several new species found in this small reserve, and the relatively few sites studied thus far in the Campos Gerais, further efforts are needed to adequately characterize the earthworm fauna of the region, from which many other species are expected.

TL;DR: Investigation of the perception of the healthcare team about the work of psychology in the hospital environment found that the participants considered important the psychology actuation at the hospital, although the observed partial knowledge about this performance.
Abstract: The psychologist job is currently understood as a way to integrate the medical and social sciences, but its performance in the hospital is steal poorly understood by the health professional working in it. Based in this aspect, the present study aimed to investigate the perception of the healthcare team about the work of psychology in the hospital environment. For this, all health professionals of a charitable hospital in Curitiba/Parana were asked to answer a questionnaire containing questions that verified their knowledge of the psychologist actuation in general and in the hospital environment, their perceptions of the importance of the psychology actuation in differents areas of the hospital, such as working with the patients, family and/or health team and their perceptions of the needs of the psychology actuation in this environment. Through the data collected, it could be concluded that the participants considered important the psychology actuation at the hospital, although the observed partial knowledge about this performance. Some assignment given to these professionals seem to even carry a risk of confusion with the role of other health professionals (eg.: perceptions that the psychology can prescribe medications, 53%). Few respondents had contact with the psychology in the hospital (64%), and indicated that the contact forms were in the attendance with patients (38%), meetings with the health team (31%), and participation in courses about psychology (30%). Considering the growing number of psychologist in the hospital, contact with this professional shows that is still low. However, the perceptions from the answers about the needs of a psychology to perform group care, with the health team (64%) or with the family (48%), could be considered a step in the direction of expansion of knowledge about the different modalities of care that psychology can be accomplish in hospital.
