An intervention program on motivation and psychological needs in physical education

Abstract: Motivation is a variable that influences the behavior of physical and sports activities promoting positive consequences such as pleasure, fun, and well-being. The objective of this study was to verify the effect of an intervention program on motivation and basic psychological needs (BPN) in School Physical Education. We investigated 42 students from a state public school, divided into two different groups (Control Group (CG) and Intervention Group (IG)). The CG was composed of 18 students and IG by 24 students. Students from both groups answered at the beginning and at the end of the intervention program two different questionnaires (BPNES, PLOCQ). After the initial application of the instruments, a weekly orientation intervention was carried out for 10 weeks only with the IG School Physical Education teacher, who sought to adapt the class in order to bring the students to the BPN (greater autonomy, competence, and social relation). After the intervention, there was a decrease in IG in three factors, with high effects sizes, indicating a high practical significance. The factors that underwent intervention in the IG were: introjected extrinsic motivation, external extrinsic motivation and amotivation. In the CG, no significant change in the variables was observed. We also explored the percentage of variation of the post-test for the pre-test among the variables measured, noting that only in the amotivation variable there was a statistically significant difference between the CG and IG groups after the intervention.

Prática pedagógica do professor de educação física na escola: dificuldades percebidas por uma equipe escolar na cidade de são paulo

Abstract: O objetivo desse estudo foi identificar e compreender os fatores que dificultam a implementacao dos curriculos de Educacao Fisica por meio uma pesquisa descritiva de cunho qualitativo, realizada em uma escola municipal da zona leste da cidade de Sao Paulo. Os principais fatores encontrados foram: descontentamento profissional, jornada de trabalho extensa, baixa remuneracao, formacao profissional insuficiente e desorganizacao do trabalho nessa rede. Concluimos que os fatores encontrados se relacionam a diferentes aspectos presentes nas dimensoes Institucional/Organizacional e Sociopolitica/Cultural e que, portanto, o professor nao e o unico responsavel pelos possiveis descompassos entre o que e proposto oficialmente pelos orgaos centrais e o que e implementado na escola.

Aplicação da nbc t 15 por empresas dos segmentos de bebidas e alimentos: uma pesquisa documental

Abstract: With adequate disclosure of information, interested parties will have instruments for evaluating the social performance of the organization. Besides generating information on finances and economics, accounting, in fulfillment of its role as supplier of information for various types of users, must also furnish information on social responsibility. The objective of this research was to verify whether the largest companies in terms of revenues in each segment of the Economy evidence information on social responsibility in an adequate way. As methodology, bibliographical research was made and documentary research developed starting with a checklist based in NBC - T 15, aimed at verifying the level of disclosure of information on social responsibility. Fourteen large revenue companies in each segment of the Economy had been selected; with the final sample including the 14 companies that had published their accounting statements. It can be stated that five companies showed poor notion of the concept; four presented excellent performance in the disclosure of information o social responsibility, while the others presented good or regular performance. It was verified that despite the scarcity of norms on social responsibility and even though they may not evidence their preoccupations clearly, companies are concerned about social questions.
