TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated the mood states of athletes of collective sports, teams from the city of Itatiba/SP, participants of the regional games of 2018, using the Brunel Mood Scale (BRUMS) together with 34 athletes, volunteers, of both sexes, aged between 15 and 29 years.
Abstract: The purpose of this study was to investigate the mood states of athletes of collective sports, teams from the city of Itatiba/SP, participants of the regional games of 2018. Thus, the Brunel Mood Scale (BRUMS) was used, together with 34 athletes, volunteers, of both sexes, aged between 15 and 29 years. Participants belonged to 3 teams: Men's Volleyball, Women's Volleyball and Men's Basketball. The results showed that at the beginning of the competition the athletes of all the teams presented a positive state of mood, since the Vigor factor obtained the highest scores, but the Female Volleyball athletes were superior in this factor the other teams. It can be concluded that the investigated athletes had higher scores to Vigor factor, characterizing the sample with the so-called iceberg profile, a profile considered ideal for sports performance.

TL;DR: In this article, a literature review was carried out to propose a set of indicators capable of assessing the overall impact of this eco-innovation in eight lines of action: (1) environmental, (2) social, (3) economic, (4) human resource training, (5) institutional development, introduction of innovation, (6) unwanted occurrences, and (8) characteristics of environmental management.
Abstract: Eco-innovations are innovations capable of helping to reduce the environmental impacts of production processes. In this sense, the adoption of models that assess comprehensively, in an integrated manner and in different perspectives, the general performance of these innovations allows managers to guide their decisions. The object of this research is the use of an eco-innovation in the production processes of cassava, where the waste generated is treated by biodigesters. These cassava processing industries are located in southern Brazil, Parana State, comprising a multiple case study. A literature review was also carried out to propose a set of indicators capable of assessing the overall impact of this eco-innovation in eight lines of action: (1) environmental, (2) social, (3) economic, (4) human resource training, (5) institutional development, (6) introduction of innovation, (7) unwanted occurrences, and (8) characteristics of environmental management. To compile and process the data, the computerized model INOVA-tec System was used. The objective was to employ the INOVA-tec System model as an instrument for evaluating eco-innovative processes in leading companies in its segment, looking for evidence to expand its usability to other realities in the agro-industry. The results show that the technology scenario is favorable to its dissemination; however, the low performance of the indicators together makes it underutilized.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors analyzed the factors that determine performance in swimming and how this can be used in triathletes' training and competitions, and found that the pacing strategy adopted at the swimming phase seems to directly influence the final outcome of the race.
Abstract: Triathlon is a sport that involves three different exercise modes, swimming, cycling and running, each of which contributes differently to the triathlete's performance. The objective of the present study was to analyze the factors that determine performance in swimming and how this can be used in triathletes' training and competitions. We searched articles on triathlon swimming using the following keywords in Portuguese: "triathlon," "triatleta," "performance na natacao," and their translations into English when necessary. Swimming is considered the most intense phase during a triathlon event. In short triathlon races, the intensity of this phase seems to be higher than the anaerobic threshold. The split time of this first phase seems to correlate positively with final time of the short races, which is not true for longer races. During the short and Olympic triathlon, the pacing strategy adopted at the swimming phase seems to directly influence the final outcome of the race. Thus, the planning of training loads within the three exercise modes of triathlon must take into consideration the distance and format of the races to achieve success.
