TL;DR: A review of deep learning challenges related to machinery fault detection and diagnosis systems and the potential for future work on deep learning implementation in FDD systems is briefly discussed.
Abstract: In the age of industry 4.0, deep learning has attracted increasing interest for various research applications. In recent years, deep learning models have been extensively implemented in machinery fault detection and diagnosis (FDD) systems. The deep architecture’s automated feature learning process offers great potential to solve problems with traditional fault detection and diagnosis (TFDD) systems. TFDD relies on manual feature selection, which requires prior knowledge of the data and is time intensive. However, the high performance of deep learning comes with challenges and costs. This paper presents a review of deep learning challenges related to machinery fault detection and diagnosis systems. The potential for future work on deep learning implementation in FDD systems is briefly discussed.

TL;DR: A photonic based simple and robust method for generating millimeter waves applicable in 5G access fronthaul is presented and the radio over fiber (RoF) system for transmission of orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) with 5 GHz bandwidth is presented.
Abstract: 5G communications require a multi Gb/s data transmission in its small cells. For this purpose millimeter wave (mm-wave) RF signals are the best solutions to be utilized for high speed data transmission. Generation of these high frequency RF signals is challenging in electrical domain therefore photonic generation of these signals is more studied. In this work, a photonic based simple and robust method for generating millimeter waves applicable in 5G access fronthaul is presented. Besides generating of the mm-wave signal in the 60 GHz frequency band the radio over fiber (RoF) system for transmission of orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) with 5 GHz bandwidth is presented. For the purpose of wireless transmission for 5G application the required antenna is designed and developed. The total system performance in one small cell was studied and the error vector magnitude (EVM) of the system was evaluated.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors examined the relationship between the service quality dimension and customer satisfaction in the Malaysian hotel industry and found that the majority of the hotel customers were satisfied with the overall quality of the service provided by their hotels.
Abstract: The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between the service quality dimension and customer satisfaction in the Malaysian hotel industry. A nonprobability sampling technique with a convenient sampling approach has been used in this study. Respondents have been restricted to those who have the experience of staying in hotels in Malaysia. The majority of the hotel customers were satisfied with the overall quality of the service provided by their hotels. The findings suggest that service quality dimension makes a significant contribution to the prediction of customer satisfaction.

Abstract: Shape-dependent Au@Ag core−shell nanocrystals have been successfully synthesized by using a two-step method. First, Au nanocrystal seeds with various shapes including single-crystal octahedron, single-twinned triangle or hexagon plate, and multiple-twinned decahedron were prepared by reducing HAuCl4 in ethylene glycol (EG) in the presence of polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) as a polymer surfactant under the condition of microwave heating. Subsequently, thus-obtained Au seeds were added into N,N-dimethylformamide (DMF) solution containing Ag+ ions for overgrowth of Ag shells by an oil-bath heating. Transmission electron microscope (TEM) observation demonstrates that shapes of formed Ag shells strongly depend on shapes of initiated Au seeds. These newly produced triangular or hexagonal platelike, octahedral, and multiple-twinned decahedral Au@Ag nanocrystals are mainly dominated by the Ag shells having {111} facets. This case is completely different from that previously investigated by us in EG system where forme...
