25 Sep 2001TL;DR: In this paper, a read MOSFET (160) is connected between a drain input (137) and the drain line associated with each row, and the gate (165) of the read mosFET is connected to an input for the read enable signal.
Abstract: A ferroelectric non-volatile memory (100, 436) comprising: a plurality of memory cells (14, 116, 117, 118, 119), each containing an FeFET (40, 140A) and a MOSFET (20, 120A), each of said FeFETs (14) having a source (42), a drain (44), a substrate (45), and a gate (58), and each MOSFET (20) having a pair of source/drains (22, 23) and a gate (21). The cells are arranged in an array comprising a plurality of rows (180) and a plurality of columns (184). A gate line (132) and a bit line (134) are associated with each column, and a word line (136), a drain line (139), and a substrate line (138) are associated with each row. A read MOSFET (160) is connected between a drain input (137) and the drain line associated with each row. The gate (165) of the read MOSFET is connected to an input for the read enable signal.

15 Jul 2008TL;DR: The reauthorized Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) was signed into law on Dec. 3, 2004, by President George W. Bush as mentioned in this paper, with the exception of some elements of the definition of highly qualified teacher.
Abstract: The reauthorized Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) was signed into law on Dec. 3, 2004, by President George W. Bush. The provisions of the act will be effective on July 1, 2005, with the exception of some elements of the definition of “highly qualified teacher” that took effect upon the signing of the act. This is one in a series of documents, prepared by the Office of Special Education and Rehabilitative Services (OSERS) in the U.S. Department of Education, that covers a variety of highinterest topics and brings together the statutory language related to those topics to support constituents in preparing to implement the new requirements. This document addresses only changes to the provisions regarding highly qualified teachers of IDEA that will take effect on July 1, 2005. It does not address any changes that may be made by the final regulations.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors used the capillary rise method to measure the room temperature surface tension of several ionic liquids, selected mainly for their high electrical conductivity, including 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium (EMI+), 1-butyl-3 -methyloridazolate (BMI+), and 1,3-dimethylimideamideamides (DMI+) paired with anions such as GaCl4−, FeCl4+, C(CN)3−, N(CN

TL;DR: This article found that people who do not take warnings seriously are more likely to drive through flooded roads, as are people aged 18-35, and those that do not know that motor vehicles are involved in more than half of all flood fatalities.

TL;DR: The first joint curriculum development effort for undergraduate programs in information systems is described in this paper, where the curriculum recommendations are a collaborative effort of the following organizations: ACM, AIS, DPMA, and ICIS.
Abstract: This paper provides an overview report of the first joint curriculum development effort for undergraduate programs in information systems. The curriculum recommendations are a collaborative effort of the following organizations: ACM, AIS, DPMA, and ICIS. After a summary of the objectives and rationale for the curriculum, the curriculum model is described. Input and output attributes of graduates are delineated. Resource requirements for effective IS programs are then identified. Lastly, there is a proposal for maintaining currency of the curriculum through electronic media.
