TL;DR: In this paper, a new theory for multiple elastically scattered fields is developed, which is based on a set of coupled linear equations for the expansion coefficients of elastic multiple scattered fields by randomly distributed spherical scatterers by using the expansions of the fields and the translational addition theorems of vector spherical wave functions.
Abstract: Starting from the basic integral equation for multiple scattered fields, a set of coupled linear equations for the expansion coefficients of elastic multiple scattered fields by randomly distributed spherical scatterers has been derived by using the expansions of the fields and the translational addition theorems of vector spherical wave functions. Thus, a new theory for this kind of problems is developed. Different from the others, this theory gives the multiple elastically scattered fields in all space regions.

TL;DR: In this paper, the 3D motion of a single electron with on-axis and off-axis guiding centers in a realistic helical wiggler and axial guide field was analyzed.
Abstract: 3-D motion of electrons with on-axis and off-axis guiding centers in realistic helical wiggler and axial guide field is analysed. It is found that purely helical orbits couldnot exist for the electrons with off-axis guiding centers, except for those with on-axis guiding centers. Perturbation solutions of the electron's velocity and orbit averaged over the cyclotron angle are derived. Our calculations indicate the divergence of the electron orbits near resonance.
