TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the fresh and hardened properties of self-compacting concrete by adding waste plastic, whereas the content of tea waste and crushed ceramics was kept constant, and the results revealed that the addition of plastic waste caused to reduce SFD, L-Box, segregation, and fresh density.
Abstract: The increasing cost of landfills, and lack of natural large aggregates observing interests for using wastes to produce concrete and mortar materials. Utilizing plastic waste and crushed ceramic waste not only save the landfills cost but also reduce the cost of using natural aggregates. Secondly, tea is the second most consumed beverage at world level and resulted huge amount of waste. Thus, this article attempts to develop the appropriate characteristics of self-compacting concrete (SCC) by adding plastic waste, tea waste, and crushed ceramics. The fresh and hardened properties of the SCC were investigated to examine the addition of waste plastic, whereas the content of tea waste and crushed ceramic was kept constant. The results revealed that the addition of plastic waste caused to reduce SFD, L-Box, segregation, and fresh density, and obtained maximum values as 765 mm, 0.94, 19, and 2382 kg/m3 for PP5 and RP5, respectively, whereas T500 and V-funnel flow gradually increased with increasing waste plastic, and the maximum values were obtained as 3.44 and 16 for RP25 and PP+RP25, respectively. Further, compressive and flexural strengths were decreased with increasing content of waste plastic, and the maximum values were obtained as 55 MPa and 6.5 MPa for PP5 and PP+RP5 at 28 days, respectively. The results proved the possibility of using plastic waste, tea waste, and crushed ceramics in SCC.

TL;DR: The role of cloud computing services and applications in different sectors are shown, which in turn helps individuals and organizations to understand how cloud computing can provide them with customized, engine requirements, reliable and cost-effective services in a wide variety of applications.
Abstract: Cloud computing is a modern emerging trend in distributed computing technology that is rapidly gaining popularity in the network communication field Such network communication is an Internet-based computing, where shared resources, software, and information are provided with computers and devices on-demand The concept of "cloud computing" is not new, it has proven a major commercial success over recent times and it is also considered "the delivery of computing model" through shared resources, software and information over the internet (public) or intranet (private) This innovative technology affords a new era of an electronic-service in diverse subject areas This paper shows the role of cloud computing services and applications in different sectors, which in turn helps individuals and organizations to understand how cloud computing can provide them with customized, engine requirements, reliable and cost-effective services in a wide variety of applications Furthermore, this context discusses a number of affecting factors, such as security, resource availability, cost, interoperability, precautions, and roadmap in healthcare, education, financial, agriculture and library sectors Finally, the paper showcased the pros and cons of using cloud computing technology in different sectors It additionally diagnosed the security factor that is a critical element in slowing down the adoption of cloud computing in various applications and institutions

TL;DR: In this paper, the copper(II) nanoparticles have been immobilized on metformin-functionalized graphene oxide and then its catalytic applications have been investigated in synthesis of amides from aldoximes (Beckmann rearrangement).
Abstract: In this study, for the first time, the copper(II) nanoparticles (NPs) have been immobilized on metformin-functionalized graphene oxide and then its catalytic applications have been investigated in synthesis of amides from aldoximes (Beckmann rearrangement). The chemical structure of prepared catalyst has been characterized by various analyses like FT-IR, TGA, TEM, SEM, EDX, and ICP. All analyses confirm the successful and stable immobilization of copper NPs on functionalized graphene oxide. This synthesized heterogeneous nanocatalyst showed excellent catalytic activity with high product yields and short reaction times. Also, the suggested catalyst could be recycled ten times without a drastic decrease in its catalytic activity.

TL;DR: Different effects of VêO® premium and Vitamin C supplementation were noticed on the lipid profile before and during pregnancy in local Iraqi ewes during heat stress.
Abstract: The present study was designed to investigate the effects of VeO® premium and vitamin C (Vit. C) supplementation on lipid profile before and during pregnancy in local Iraqi ewes during heat stress. The study was conducted in a private field in Fallujah city, west Iraq, during the period from 6/8/2019 to 8/2/2020. Twenty local Iraqi ewes were divided randomly into four equal groups (5 for each group) The first group (T1) was given VeO® premium (4 g/ ewe/ day), the second group (T2) was given VeO® premium (2 g/ ewe/ day), and the third group (T3) was given Vit. C (40 mg/ ewe/ day), and the fourth group (T4) was left without treatment, as a control group. After 14 days of treatment, vaginal sponges were inserted for 14 days and, after their withdrawal, the rams were introduced for 6 days. Blood samples were collected from the jugular vein into vacutainer tubes (10 ml) at 4 periods (periods 1 and 2 before pregnancy; periods 3 and 4 during pregnancy). Lipid profile parameters were also estimated, which includes cholesterol, triglyceride, high density lipoprotein (HDL), low density lipoprotein (LDL), very low density lipoprotein (VLDL), and malondialdehyde (MDA). There were no significant difference in the serum levels of cholesterol, triglyceride, HDL, and LDL among the various treatments before and during pregnancy. The level of VLDL was significantly higher in T2 group as compared to the other treatments (P≤0.05) at the fourth periods. There was a significant difference in the level of MDA (P≤0.05) in treatment T3 in the first period compared with the treatments T1, T2, and T4, whereas treatment T4 showed significantly higher level (P≤0.05) in the second, third, and fourth periods as compared to treatments T1, T2, and T3. In conclusion, different effects of VeO® premium and Vitamin C supplementation were noticed on the lipid profile before and during pregnancy in local Iraqi ewes during heat stress.
