TL;DR: In this article, the impact of the corporate store image on customer satisfaction and store loyalty in grocery retailing was studied, based on a simple path model that related the latent variables to the dependent manifest variable store loyalty.
Abstract: Purpose – To study the impact of the corporate store image on customer satisfaction and store loyalty in grocery retailing. Corporate (store) image is defined as the combined effect of how the retailer as a brand, manufacturer brands, and store brands are perceived. The reason for including store brands and manufacturer brands in this definition is that the image and equity of retailer brands depends on the product brands they carry and the equity of those product brands.Design/methodology/approach – A mail survey to consumers, 1,000 usable answers. The test of the proposed model was based on a simple path model that related the latent variables to the dependent manifest variable store loyalty.Findings – Most important for customer satisfaction is the store as a brand. Retailers must be good at retailing. Customers are satisfied when the store is neat and pleasant and when they feel that the store understands their needs. Only certain customer segments are interested in store brands. Satisfied customers a...

TL;DR: Although the A-TAC is principally intended for epidemiological research and general investigations, the instrument may be useful as a tool to collect information in clinical practice as well, and different cut-off levels for screening versus identifying proxies for clinical diagnoses are warranted.
Abstract: Reliable, valid, and easy-to-administer instruments to identify possible caseness and to provide proxies for clinical diagnoses are needed in epidemiological research on child and adolescent mental health. The aim of this study is to provide further validity data for a parent telephone interview focused on Autism - Tics, Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (AD/HD), and other Comorbidities (A-TAC), for which reliability and preliminary validation data have been previously reported. Parents of 91 children clinically diagnosed at a specialized Child Neuropsychiatric Clinic, 366 control children and 319 children for whom clinical diagnoses had been previously assigned were interviewed by the A-TAC over the phone. Interviewers were blind to clinical information. Different scores from the A-TAC were compared to the diagnostic outcome. Areas under ROC curves for interview scores as predictors of clinical diagnoses were around 0.95 for most disorders, including autism spectrum disorders (ASDs), attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (AD/HD), tic disorders, developmental coordination disorders (DCD) and learning disorders, indicating excellent screening properties. Screening cut-off scores with sensitivities above 0.90 (0.95 for ASD and AD/HD) were established for most conditions, as well as cut-off scores to identify proxies to clinical diagnoses with specificities above 0.90 (0.95 for ASD and AD/HD). The previously reported validity of the A-TAC was supported by this larger replication study using broader scales from the A-TAC-items and a larger number of diagnostic categories. Short versions of algorithms worked as well as larger. Different cut-off levels for screening versus identifying proxies for clinical diagnoses are warranted. Data on the validity for mood problems and oppositional defiant/conduct problems are still lacking. Although the A-TAC is principally intended for epidemiological research and general investigations, the instrument may be useful as a tool to collect information in clinical practice as well.

TL;DR: In severe hypertriglyceridaemia, intervention can be indicated to prevent cardiovascular disease, dependent on triglyceride concentration, concomitant lipoprotein disturbances, and overall cardiovascular risk; in mild-to-moderate hypertrIGlyceridaemic states, intervention is indicated to Prevent cardiovascular disease and treatment includes management of lifestyle and secondary factors, and pharmacotherapy.

TL;DR: It was observed that 4 months after implant installation, the titanium/hard tissue interface at test and control sites exhibited a similar degree of "osseointegration", which indicates that with time, Bio-Oss becomes integrated and subsequently replaced by newly formed bone.
Abstract: The aim of the present experiment was to (i) study the healing after 3 and 7 months of bone defects filled with cancellous bovine bone mineral and (ii) compare the healing around implants placed in normal bone and in defects filled with bovine bone mineral. 5 beagle dogs, about 1-year-old, were used. At baseline, extractions of all mandibular left and right premolars were performed. Bone defects were prepared in the left mandibular quadrant. The defect was immediately filled with natural bovine cancellous bone mineral particles (Bio-Oss, Geistlich Sons Ltd. Wolhusen, Switzerland). No resective surgery was performed in the right jaw quadrant. In both quadrants the flaps were adjusted to allow full coverage of the edentulous ridge and sutured. 3 months later, 2 dogs (group I) were euthanized and biopsies from the premolar regions obtained and prepared for histologic analysis. The 3 remaining dogs (group II) were at this time interval (3 months) subjected to implant installation in the premolar region of both the right and left mandibular jaw quadrants. 2 fixtures of the ITI Dental Implant System (Straumann, Waldenburg, Switzerland; solid-screw; 8 x 3.3 mm) were installed in each side. The fixtures in the test side were placed within the previously grafted defect area, while the fixtures in the control side were placed in normally healed extraction sites. A 4 month period of plaque control was initiated. At the end of this period, a clinical examination including assessment of plaque and soft tissue inflammation was performed and radiographs obtained from the implant sites. Biopsies were harvested and 4 tissue samples were yielded per dog, each including the implant and the surrounding soft and hard peri-implant tissues. The biopsies were processed for ground sectioning or "fracture technique" and the sections produced were subjected to histological examination. The volume of the hard tissue that was occupied by clearly identified Bio-Oss particles was reduced between the 3- and 7-month intervals. This indicates that with time, Bio-Oss becomes integrated and subsequently replaced by newly formed bone. In other words, this xenograft fulfils the criteria of an osteoconductive material. It was also observed that 4 months after implant installation, the titanium/hard tissue interface at test and control sites exhibited, from both a quantitative and qualitative aspect, a similar degree of "osseointegration".
