Abstract: This paper considers the stability problem of the model reference adaptive control systems by means of the properties of hyperstable systems. A theorem concerning the hyperstability of model reference adaptive control systems is presented. This theorem directly gives a structure of the adaption mechanism. The results presented here include all the results obtained by Butchart, Shackcloth, Parks, Winsor, Roy, and Dressler. The hyperstability approach presented in this paper also allows for other solutions to the adaption mechanism and represents a general method for studying this type of adaptive systems. The results are directly applicable to the design of model reference adaptive control systems and they were verified for some particular cases by analogical simulation.

Abstract: En vue de la determination des elements de matrice nucleaires (E.M.N.) de la transition β 86Rb (2-) → 86Sr (2 + ; 1, 08 MeV), on a mesure la polarisation circulaire du γ de 1,08 MeV, en coincidence avec le spectre β, pour differentes valeurs de l'angle θβγ. Les resultats obtenus ne sont pas en accord avec des mesures anterieures. Ces resultats experimentaux, ainsi que ceux relatifs a la correlation directionnelle β-γ et au facteur de forme du spectre β, ont ete utilises pour determiner les six E.M.N., par ajustement des expressions theoriques de Morita et Morita aux donnees experimentales. Les valeurs obtenues pour les E.M.N. sont comparees aux predictions theoriques de S. Walhborn. Certaines conclusions de Walhborn pourraient etre modifiees.
TL;DR: In this article, it was shown that the backward peaks appearing at large angles in the elastic and inelastic scattering of 3 He (or t) by light nuclei which have not been accounted for by the usual optical model, could be interpreted by the same exchange effect as the heavy-particle stripping reaction in nuclear rearrangement collisions, as in the case of the α-particles presented in our previous paper.
