TL;DR: In this paper, the authors review the mechanism of CO2 hydrogenation over Ni, Ru, and Cu, and the effect of catalyst properties and operating conditions on reaction kinetics.
Abstract: This study critically reviews the mechanism of CO2 hydrogenation over Ni, Ru, and Cu, and the effect of catalyst properties and operating conditions on reaction kinetics. Most studies have reported the presence of CO and formate species on Ni-, Ru-, and Cu-based catalysts, where subsequent conversion of these species depends on the type of catalyst and the physicochemical properties of the catalyst support. Methane is the major product that forms during CO2 hydrogenation over Ni and Ru catalysts, while methanol and CO are mainly produced on Cu catalysts. A different approach for catalyst formulations and/or process development is required where long chain hydrocarbons are desired.

TL;DR: The evolutionary history of Mimosoideae is reconstructed using the most comprehensive sampling to date, with an emphasis on African species, and the phylogenetic relationships among the five recognized genera within Acacieae are reconstructed to elucidate the paleo-biogeography of mimosoids and their adaptation to open habitats in the Cenozoic.

TL;DR: This paper is concerned with the asynchronous state estimation for a class of discrete-time switched complex networks with communication constraints and an asynchronous estimator is designed to overcome the difficulty that each node cannot access to the topology/coupling information.
Abstract: This paper is concerned with the asynchronous state estimation for a class of discrete-time switched complex networks with communication constraints. An asynchronous estimator is designed to overcome the difficulty that each node cannot access to the topology/coupling information. Also, the event-based communication, signal quantization, and the random packet dropout problems are studied due to the limited communication resource. With the help of switched system theory and by resorting to some stochastic system analysis method, a sufficient condition is proposed to guarantee the exponential stability of estimation error system in the mean-square sense and a prescribed $H_{\infty }$ performance level is also ensured. The characterization of the desired estimator gains is derived in terms of the solution to a convex optimization problem. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed design approach is demonstrated by a simulation example.
