TL;DR: In this paper, the authors extend to larger classes of norms some inequalities concerning sums of positive operators and sums of operators having orthogonal ranges, which are useful in the theories of best approximation in C *-algebras and generalized inverses.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the impact of 3D product presentation quality on attitude toward presented product and attitude toward website, which in turn affect users' satisfaction, and found that 3D-quality determines perceptions of attitude towards presented products and attitude towards website.

TL;DR: The Triassic sequence of Jordan east of the Rift-valley consists of an over 1000 m thick sequence of sedimentary rocks as mentioned in this paper, which were deposited near the shore, either under terrestrial conditions within the intertidal range just offshore, or under saline conditions in a sabkha lagoonal environment.
Abstract: The Triassic sequence of Jordan east of the Rift-valley consists of an over 1000 m thick sequence of sedimentary rocks. These sediments were deposited near the shore, either under terrestrial conditions within the intertidal range just offshore, or under saline conditions in a sabkha lagoonal environment. Nine formations are described: Um Irna (80 m), Ma'in (40 m), Dardun (60 m), Ain Musa (80 m), Hisban (35 m), Mukheiris (90 m), Iraq al Amir (170 m), Um Tina (260 m), Abu Ruweis (200 m). With the exception of large parts of the Um Tina and the Abu Ruweis Formations all other formations are exposed along the NE coast of the Dead Sea and the deep wadis just E and NE of it. Each formation is defined by a type section. The sedimentary rocks are intruded by dykes and sills composed of diabase and gabbro of uniform composition and older than Upper Jurassic in age. Comparison of Triassic rocks from the west side of the Rift (DRUCKMAN 1974, 1977) indicates that the facies and thickness of Jordanian Triassic rocks as well as the northernmost limit of intrusive rocks can only be fitted with those of the central Negev. A relative movement of the Abrabian block against Palestine-Sinai of at least 100 km along the Rift is probable (BANDEL 1981).

TL;DR: In this paper, the crystal structure and microstructure evolution of a pure, crystalline, ∼10 nm lithium ferrite phase (Li0.5Fe2.5O4) was monitored by a careful investigation of X-ray diffractograms collected on a synchrotron source.
Abstract: Pure, crystalline, ∼10 nm lithium ferrite phase (Li0.5Fe2.5O4), was successfully synthesized at very low temperature using a modified combustion method. The crystal structure and microstructure evolution of this system upon annealing were monitored by a careful investigation of X-ray diffractograms collected on a synchrotron source. Comparative analysis of the results obtained from the full profile Rietveld method (in reciprocal space) and the pair distribution function method (in direct space) was carried out. Nanocrystalline samples exhibit similar crystal structure, on average, with a partial ordering of Li+ and Fe3+ ions between octahedral 4b and 12d sites on the spinel crystal lattice (space group P4332). After annealing at 973 K, cation distribution changes to a completely ordered, resembling that which is seen in the bulk lithium ferrite. The PDF analysis reveals abnormally high values of oxygen atomic displacement parameters in tetrahedral 8c sites (O1) indicating a significant disordering of the ...
