TL;DR: A work in progress, enabling an audience to influence a painter, through electrical muscle stimulation (EMS) to co-create visual art works, is presented.
Abstract: We present a work in progress, enabling an audience to influence a painter, through electrical muscle stimulation (EMS) to co-create visual art works. Two sets of EMS pads are positioned on the painter's arm such that stimulation pulses, triggered on a collocated tablet interface by audience members, cause deviation in the ongoing brushstroke. LEDs co-located with the EMS pads provide additional visual feedback to the audience of stimulation delivery. In an initial trial, rather than focusing on co-creation, the audience amused themselves by mischievously diverting the painter from his work.

Abstract: The purpose of this article is to present the development of multifaceted research on snow cover conducted by Polish researchers in various parts of the world since the end of the 19 th century up to the modern times. The paper describes Polish studies on physical and chemical properties of snow cover, its long-term changes, relationships between snow cover and climate, impact of snow cover on environmental conditions and human activity. This work is also an attempt to show the contribution of Polish snow-related research to the international achievements in this fields.

TL;DR: Partner selection and the arousal of love have interested poets, artists, and authors already for millenniums as mentioned in this paper, and they have presented various theories to explain the start of a new relationship.
Abstract: Partner selection and the arousal of love have interested poets, artists, and authors already for millenniums. The process of partner selection—“mate selection”, “mate seeking”, “spouse selection”, or “marital choice”—has proven quite an interesting research target especially in the United States (Hatfield, Benson, & Rapson, 2012). Research has often been relatively narrow studies with small data but they have presented various theories to explain the start of a new relationship.

TL;DR: This paper shows that Ge's formula is wrong and each step of Ge's proof is wrong, and gives and proves a correct formula in a rigorous statistical framework.
Abstract: As the main result in Ge's paper, Ge announced that he proved a formula on the distribution of Morlet wavelet power spectrum of continuous-time Gaussian white noise in a rigorous statistical framework. In this paper, we will show that Ge's formula is wrong and each step of Ge's proof is wrong. Moreover, we give and prove a correct formula in a rigorous statistical framework.
