Le lien est etabli avec la martingale locale exponentielle α(N, z, Μ) de Kunita-Watanabe, ce qui permet de generaliser un theoreme de Novikov.

Abstract: THE Ile de Groix (South Brittany, France) is made up of a series of metapelitic rocks intercalated with metabasic horizons, most of which contain glaucophane1,2. Palaeozoic metamorphism2–4 in the basic rocks produced various assemblages, such as glaucophane + lawsonite5,6 or omphacite + garnet, characteristic of high pressure and low2 to medium1 temperatures. All these rocks were later slightly or completely recrystallised under greenschist facies conditions1,5,6. The presence of a contrasting metamorphic facies (high temperature/low to medium pressure), on the mainland north of Groix, has led several workers to propose the existence of a paired metamorphic belt2 of pre-Hercynian age4,7,8, formed as a result of subduction2,7–9. We present evidence here concerning the style of deformation contemporaneous with the high-pressure metamorphism.

Abstract: A vitreous domain is investigated in the ternary system ZrF 4 BaF 2 NdF 3 . A typical composition for a glass is 60% ZrF 4 , 34% BaF 2 , 6% NdF 3 ; it can be extended to other rare earths. Several spectroscopic properties of this new Nd glass are reported: absorption and fluorescence spectra, fluorescence lifetime and refractive index. The properties of fluorozirconate glasses are compared with those of other known glasses for laser applications.

Abstract: Several compounds with the pyrochlore structure have been investigated. Dielectric and structural studies of the compound Cd2NB2O6S show the existence of three phase transitions at 106°C, 184°C and 282°C. The ferroelectric properties have been studied by several methods (x-Ray, DTA, dielectric and dilatometric methods, second harmonic generation). We also discuss some structural hypotheses. Bi2MIIIMvO7, oxides (MIII=Cr, Fe, In, Sc; Mv=Nb, Ta, Sb) with the cubic pyrochlore structure have been prepared. Some compounds exhibit broad maxima in the temperature dependence of the dielectric constant and the tangent of dielectric loss angle.

Abstract: AN earlier attempt1 to use thermoluminescence (TL) for determining the age of Quaternary lava flows, and in particular of the magnetically reversed2 Laschamp and Olby flows of the Chaine des Puys in the French Massif Central, was frustrated by anomalous fading of the TL. This anomalous fading seems to be exhibited by most of the TL-sensitive minerals in lava and is probably due to wave mechanical leakage of electrons out of traps to nearby defects3,4. It has not been observed in quartz1 but only minimal quantities of this mineral are present in the basaltic flows of the Chaine des Puys. Although the TL phototransfer technique is a promising5 way of using traps that are immune to anomalous fading, it has not yet proved possible to obtain TL dates directly from volcanic lava (although an empirical technique has achieved relative dating in one particular application6). We report here the TL dates for the baking by lava of clay and sediment, thereby avoiding the malign TL characteristics of the lava itself. TL dating of baked clay in the form of archaeological pottery is well established7 and the procedures developed in that application were followed here. Some of the dates obtained are of particular interest because of the likely association2 of one of the lava flows concerned, that at Royat, with the magnetically reversed flows mentioned above. An average TL age for the latter of 33,000 ± 4,000 yr has been obtained by Valladas et al.8,9; this is based on quartz extracted from a granitic inclusion found in the Laschamp flow and an underlying quartz pebble heated by the Olby flow.

Abstract: Geophysical data from within and adjacent to Newfoundland indicate the existence of an undulating but regionally continuous layer of ultramafic rocks generally dipping to the southeast beneath the Avalon zone of Newfoundland. This is interpreted to indicate the southeastward subduction of an early Paleozoic oceanic crust. The ophiolites of western Newfoundland (those both detached and rooted), the granites of north-central Newfoundland, and the Gander ultramafic zone occupy positions that are unique in relation to the ultramafic layer. Northeast of Newfoundland and in New Brunswick, “incomplete” continental suturing has preserved geological zones not seen in Newfoundland.

Abstract: La comparaison des spectres normaux et MIKE du phenyl-1 triazole-1,2,3 et de ses derives deuteries et marques au 13C indique que les ions peuvent se decomposer selon deux voies competitives: une rupture simple sans rearrangement est preferentielle pour les ions de haute energie (spectre normal). Au contraire, la perte de HCN domine pour les ions de basse energie (metastables) et a lieu apres mixage complet des atomes d'hydrogene.
Comparison of the ‘normal’ and mass analysed ion kinetic energy spectra of 1-phenyl-1,2,3-triazole and a few D and 13C labelled derivatives indicates that the ions may follow two competing decomposition pathways: a simple rupture without rearrangement is preferred by the ions of high internal energy content (normal spectrum). On the other hand, for low internal energy metastable ions, loss of HCN is more important and occurs after a complete randomization of the H atoms.

L’analyse des modes normaux de vibration met en evidence l'existence de couplages importants; les resultats sont en accord avec une forte rigidite des molecules. La comparaison des amplitudes moyennes de vibration et des ordres de liaison des deux molecules permet de preciser la conjugaison du groupement imide par rapport au groupement anhydride.

Abstract: 2014 Using the theory of finite strain for a crystal of hexagonal symmetry, an equation of state involving the elastic constants up to the third-order is presented. This equation permits determination of theoretical linear compression curves and the derivation of explicit expressions for the pressure dependence of the effective elastic moduli. For magnesium and cadmium, the results obtained show that the Eulerian equation provides a better agreement with experimental high-pressure data than does the corresponding Lagrangian equation. The third-order Eulerian equation, combined with the Krôner theory, is then used to describe the elastic behaviour of a hydrostatically compressed polycrystal composed of pure phases of hexagonal crystals. Finally, the variations with pressure of the effective polycrystalline bulk and shear moduli for magnesium and cadmium, deduced from the Kröner theory and from the Voigt-Reuss-Hill average, are calculated and compared. Abstract: Les moments dipolaires de merocyanines α-oxo et γ-oxo benzoLInazoliniqucs, α-oxo benzimidazoliniques et γ-oxo benzodithioliques ont cle determines dans le benzene et dans un melange benzene-chloroforme. Les difficultes experimentales dues a la tres faible solubilite de certains de ces composes et a leur forte coloration nous ont amenes a utiliser les methodes de Halverstadt et Kumler et de Gilkerson et Srivastava. L’analyse des moments electriques met en evidence une separation de charge limitee pour les composes azaheterocycliques. La polarisation est pratiquement nulle dans le cas des substrats benzodithioliques. Par ailleurs la forte polarisabilite de certains solutes a pu etre constatee.
