TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the relationship between value co-creation behavior and customer satisfaction with the service experience and found that there is a direct relationship between the consumer's role as a co-creator and the satisfaction of the service.
Abstract: Purpose – The greater part of the academic literature coincides in highlighting the positive influence that consumer participation has on the value created in service delivery. In this sense, research stands out which studies the consumer's role as a value co-creator in the service. However, there are few studies which analyze the consequences of co-creation behavior from the customer perspective. This research aims to fill this gap. To do so, it sets out from the measuring of co-creation from the perspective of the customers themselves and proposes that there is a direct relationship between value co-creation behavior and customer satisfaction with the service experience. Design/methodology/approach – To verify the hypothesis proposed, adults over 18 were personally interviewed. They had to be regular users of firms in the beauty parlor and personal care sector. The data collection finished with 547 duly-completed questionnaires. The SPSS 20 and AMOS 20 statistical programs were used for the data analysi...

TL;DR: The use of a catalyst in Kjeldahl digestion accelerates oxidation and completes the digestion to allow the subsequent determination of nitrogen, which has become a classical measurement in analytical chemistry and has been used extensively over the past 130 years as mentioned in this paper.
Abstract: In 1883 Kjeldahl devised a method for the determination of nitrogen, which has become a classical measurement in analytical chemistry and has been used extensively over the past 130 years. In the original method, sulfuric acid alone was used as a digestion medium. The use of a catalyst in Kjeldahl digestion accelerates oxidation and completes the digestion to allow the subsequent determination of nitrogen. Mercury (its use being in decline because of environmental concerns), selenium, and copper are the catalysts of choice, though for certain applications titanium has found some usage. Short digestion times in association with maximum nitrogen recovery may be achieved by using a methodology based on experimental design and response surfaces, with microwave digestion processes, and with the aid of the couple sulfuric acid-hydrogen peroxide without catalyst. The quantification of distilled ammonia is generally achieved by titration; the ammonia is absorbed in an excess of boric acid, followed by titration w...

TL;DR: In this paper, a directional distance approach is proposed to deal with network DEA problems in which the processes may generate not only desirable final outputs but also undesirable outputs, and the proposed approach is applied to the problem of modelling and benchmarking airport operations.
