TL;DR: An inductively-coupled radiofrequency plasma method applicable to the determination of Mo, Co and B in soil extracts has been developed and the interferences caused by some common metals and acids have been investigated.

TL;DR: Honey samples collected from the Saidabad area of Azarbaijan province of Iran were found to be moderately irritant, and this activity was associated with the presence of tri-acylates of the diterpene ingenol, which are transferred from the nectar of Euphorbia seguieriana Neck by honey bees to the honey.
Abstract: Honey samples collected from the Saidabad area of Azarbaijan province of Iran were found to be moderately irritant, and this activity was associated with the presence of tri-acylates of the diterpene ingenol, which are transferred from the nectar of Euphorbia seguieriana Neck by honey bees to the honey. The acylates of ingenol are known promoters of carcinogenesis.

TL;DR: In this paper, the nature of the response curves of cellulose nitrate (CA80-15) to heavy ions has been examined as a function of the normality of the etching solution.
Abstract: The nature of the response curves of cellulose nitrate (CA80–15) to heavy ions has been examined as a function of the normality of the etching solution. The plastic foils were irradiated with ions ranging from 12C to 32S, of energy 9.6 MeV/amu. The etchant used was aqueous NaOH solution of normality 2−12, at 40°. A plateau in the VT versus dE/dx curve is obtained in all cases at dE/dx >5 MeV cm2 mg−1; the onset of the plateau behaviour is reached at lower dE/dx values for high normality compared to those for low normality. The slope of the curve in the pre-plateau region is flatter for the higher normalities (~10−12N). The plateau etch-rate rises with normality up to ~6N, but then decreases again. Normalities below 6N seem to lead to generally the most useful response for CA80–15. The interpretation of the observed behaviour of the plastic is considered in the paper.
