TL;DR: In this article, the authors studied the problem of quantifying the energy levels of a potential of the form -h 2 /2m) 11/r 2, where l is the angular momentum of the potential.
Abstract: To understand the origin of the difficulties in the determination of the physical wavefunc tion for an attractive inverse square potential, we study a model in which the singularity at the origin is substituted by a repulsive core. The structure of the spectrum of energy levels is discussed in some detail. The physical interpretation of the solutions of the Schrodinger equation for a potential of the form - (-h 2 /2m) 11/ r 2 presents difficulties, which occur for 11 larger than (l + 1/2)\ where l is the angular momentum. The difficulties are due to the fact that the condition of square integrability usually imposed on the wavefunction is not sufficient in this case to determine phase shifts or energies of bound states. For strongly attractive singular potentials, as in the case of the attractive inverse square potential, both solutions of the wave equation are square integrable, so that Von Neumann's criterium fails to determine a unique solution. A solution can be built which is finite for r~oo, but it will be finite for every value of the energy from zero to minus infinity, so that no discrete energy spectrum can be determined. The problem of the determination of the energies of the bound states for the inverse square potential has been discussed by several authors. Some of these authors postulate additional conditions on the wavefunctions representing physical states so as to obtain a discrete energy spectrum. Shortley 1 ) discussed the quantum mechanical problem as related to the classical case, and did not try to eliminate the absence of quantization of the energy levels. Landau and Lif shitz2) showed how the lack of quantization is related to the singularity of the potential at the origin. Recently Guggenheim, 3 ) based on simple arguments of dimensional analysis, showed how it is impossible to define uniquely energy levels for the attractive inverse square potential if no extra parameter is pro vided. Case, 4 ) besides assuming the square integrability of the wavefunctions, introduced the extra condition that the wavefunctions representing physical states form an orthogonal set. This assumption is sufficient to define the spacing of

TL;DR: In this article, a conjunto of peines de marfil and madera procedentes de yacimientos of the II Edad del Hierro de la Peninsula Iberica have been studied.

TL;DR: The prevalencia de distres, identifican the problemas asociados, and analiza the conocimiento and uso that hacen los pacientes sobre the recursos psicosociales disponibles en el centro hospitalario.

TL;DR: The European Union has responded to the financial crisis by taking measures to stabilize the financial system and to promote economic growth in the Member States as mentioned in this paper, and the European Commission has assumed an international leadership in auditing, promoting cooperation within the Financial Stability Board and the G-20.
Abstract: The European Union has responded to the financial crisis by taking measures to stabilize the financial system and to promote economic growth in the Member States. In the audit field, in 2010 the document Green Paper Audit Policy: Lessons from the Crisis, shows the intention of the European Commission to assume an international leadership in auditing , promoting cooperation within the Financial Stability Board and the G-20. This document was followed by the European Parliament resolution of 13 September 2011 on Audit Policy: Lessons from the Crisis, a new Proposal for a Directive of the European Parliament and of the Council amending Directive 2006/43/EC and also a new Proposal for a Regulation of the European Parliament and Council on the specific requirements regarding statutory audit of public-interest entities. This paper highlights the visibility that the European Commission has given to the auditors’ work. Therefore, the aim of this paper is to discuss the audit regulatory model introduced in Europe. Our paper shows that European regulation intends to reach a greater control over auditing activity. Our paper provides some thoughts on whether such regulation will improve the quality of auditing

TL;DR: In this paper, the water dynamics of a typical forest soil subjected to experimental fires of contrasted levels of fire intensity, and also that of a control (unburned) soil were studied in the Spanish region of Valencia.
Abstract: In Mediterranean areas, where fire is a recurrent process, soil water availability may be a major cause for the spatial and temporal pattern of plant recovery after fires, since water is found to limit plant growth in semiarid environments. In the Spanish region of Valencia we studied the water dynamics of a typical forest soil subjected to experimental fires of contrasted levels of fire intensity, and also that of a control (unburned) soil. This was done in the field by TDK examination of their water content variations at the 0-10 mm surface soil and at the 10-100 mm subsoil, in the plant spaces and the plant interspace patches, after the first intense rainfall following the 1995 June fires. Water contents of the surface soil varied as a function of fire intensity, microsite and time after the rain. Water conditions of the subsoil in the plant spaces affected by fire, regardless intensity, resulted significantly higher than those of the surface soil, and remained above limiting water potentials during the twelve day period of study after the rain. The ecological and practical significance of our results is that in ecosystems like the case of study, and disregarding many other factors that may affect germination, seeds stored in the subsoil of the post-fire plant spaces have better water conditions to germinate and establish. This greater availability of water in the subsoil may also favour the recovery of resprouters.

Abstract: The newspapers deliver texts to public by means of practices and processes among which we will found the news values, defined like criteria in the journalistic routines that enable to editors to decide which histories publish or not. Therefore, we will try to identify from a qualitative point of view, the news values in the headlines of the news published, in different newspapers, since January of 2006, year that was approved the vaccine by the authorities of the American administration (FDA) and May of 2009, months after the episode in which two teenagers experienced seizures after being immunized against HPV. Abstract: The article deals with electoral campaign carried out by the Spanish Socialist Party for the general elections of November 1933. Starting from the importance that the new socio-cultural and political history attributed to the discourses in shaping identities and collective action, the article attempts to show the capital importance that the use of the national narrative had for socialism. In addition, by doing so, the article tries to draw attention to a central procedure in (re) construction and social dissemination of Spanish national identity, besides the processes of politicization and the role that socialism could play on it.

TL;DR: The Spanish bryophyte taxa contain 1291 taxa, 272 of them included in the Spanish Red List under any threat category as mentioned in this paper, and only 10 species of these taxa are included in LESRPE and CEEA.
Abstract: The Spanish bryoflora contains 1291 taxa, 272 of them included in the Spanish Red List under any threat category. Although bryophytes show a low rate of endemicity compared to vascular flora, Spanish administration’s responsibility for the conservation of these plants is very high, since the country has 63 exclusive or rare species on a European or world scale. However, the representation of this group of plants in the Spanish legislation on species conservation is merely anecdotal. Royal Decree 139/2011 of 4 February develops a list of wild protected species (LESRPE and CEEA, Spanish abbreviations) and includes only 10 species of bryophytes, all of them from the Directive Habitats and the Bern Convention. The legal protection of endangered species of bryophytes is needed, not only to ensure the integrity of the most sensitive bryophyte populations, but also because it will result in the overall protection of their habitats and other species that coexist with them. Their inclusion in LESRPE and CEEA will allow a periodical monitoring of the species and a better assessment of the success or failure of commonly used management measures. The criteria for the incorporation of species into national protection catalogues are rather restrictive and inclusion of species without specific studies is not easy. During the work developed for the Atlas and Red Data Book of the threatened bryophytes of Spain, valuable information was obtained in this sense, although it covered only a fraction of the total number of species on the Red List (74 species were evaluated). Based on the available information, a list of species has been drawn to elaborate a proposal that should be raised to the Spanish Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, Food and the Environment, which would imply a qualitative leap in the level of protection of this neglected group of plants and a new impetus to the necessary work started at the first phase of the Bryophyte Atlas.

TL;DR: The Archduke's acceptance of the crown of Mexico, a country so distant in every sense of his cultural envi- ronment, was discussed in detail in this article, where Maximilian had traveled to Spain and Brazil (to Spain twice) and these experiences, although not determinant, greatly influenced the decision of the archduke, who saw the chance to realize a dream he had conceived on his trip to Spain, that was consolidated during his stay in Brazil, as we can extract from his travel memoirs.
Abstract: In May of 1864, Maximilian of Austria reached the Mexican coast, being this journey his last, ending three years later with his execution. Much has been written about the reasons that promp- ted his acceptance of the crown of Mexico, a country so distant in every sense of his cultural envi- ronment. However, years ago Maximilian had traveled to Spain and Brazil (to Spain twice) and these experiences, although not determinant, greatly influenced the decision of the Archduke, who saw the chance to realize a dream he had conceived on his trip to Spain and that was consolidated during his stay in Brazil, as we can extract from his travel memoirs. TL;DR: The Weber thesis on a hypothetical imprint of Protestantism in the ''spirit» of capitalism has been widely spread as mentioned in this paper, and some careless wordings have been derived from it claiming to explain the present economical circumstances through differential religious facts.
Abstract: The Weber thesis on a hypothetical imprint of Protestantism in the «spirit» of capitalism has been widely spread. Not willing to discredit his proposal (indemonstrability does not detract from plausibility), the truth is that, being falsifiable with difficulty, some careless wordings have been derived from it claiming to explain the present economical circumstances through differential religious facts. Being religion an unparalleled all covering feature, such circumstances depend on many factors. It has been claimed some scientific status through the most diverse socioeconomic data. This is something also applicable to those who claim to refute him. The intoxication so emanated from the Weber’s work seems disconcerting, seeing in it from an attempt to legitimate capitalism to a confirmation of the Black Legend. This work does not try to support or reject the thesis, but to investigate the kind of issues that could cause its formulation. For this purpose, it focuses on less usual questions, such as the analysis of the doctrinal features of Protestantism (basically faith alone and predestination) from which the Weber’s arguments would arise.

TL;DR: In this paper, a study of 95 children's and youth books in Spanish selected through prizes, reviews and selection lists was carried out to analyse the presence of multiculturalism and interculturality.
Abstract: Although diversity has always been present in Spanish schools, the incorporation of cultures that were not very common in the country was a stirring in the 1990s for the revitalization of intercultural education. But in our opinion, there is a significant lack of studies about how this new multiculturalism has influenced in society, and especially in non-curricular materials among which the Children’s and Young’s people Literature is a fundamental component. It is important, then, and necessary to check what treatment has been made of multiculturalism in this kind of literature and stereotyping is undoubtedly one of the most sensitive aspects reflected in the works. This article deal with a research carried out on a total of 95 children’s and youth books in Catalan selected through prizes, reviews and selection lists. The goal of the global research about Catalan books was to analyse the presence of multiculturalism and interculturality. However we found that multiculturalism was often carried out through stereotypes, especially stereotypes about whole cultures and foreigners. This is partly due to the format of the works, but also because the society they are trying to reflect.

TL;DR: In this paper, an interpretation of the speculative sentence of the "counter-thrust" (Gegenstoss) that the modern subject undergoes here, allowing us to connect the movement of the Hegelian subject to the negativity recognised by Kant at the bottom of the faculty of judgment with regard to its aesthetic dimension, is presented.
Abstract: The essay presents an interpretation of Hegel’s speculative sentence that, emphasizing the “counter-thrust” (Gegenstoss) that the modern (knowing) subject undergoes here, allows us to connect the movement of the Hegelian subject to the negativity recognised by Kant at the bottom of the faculty of judgment with regard to its aesthetic dimension. This way, it aims, first, to put into question the interpretation that sees in Hegel’s philosophy a regression with regard to the consciousness, attained by Kant, of the finitude, or the constitutive split, of the modern subject, and, finally, in line with recent interpretations of Hegel, like those of Žižek or Malabou, to contribute to the questioning of the traditional interpretation of Hegel’s dialectics as the overcoming of negativity into a final reconciling synthesis.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors analyse how the distintas fases politicas de Espana a lo largo de la history of the country have condicionado de manera definitiva su imagen in el extranjero, in especial en Alemania.
