TL;DR: In this article, the authors explored the discussion on 3D flow of dual stratified Oldroyd-B fluid in the direction of thermal radiation, viscous dissipation and heat source/sink.
Abstract: The present report explores the discussion on 3D flow of dual stratified Oldroyd-B fluid in the direction of thermal radiation, viscous dissipation and heat source/sink. Mathematical modeling is formulated with an applied magnetic field through a stretching surface. The present flow governing system has been transformed as nonlinear ODE via suitable transformations and then concluded by using bvp4c. The graphs are described and illustrated for various non-dimensional parameters. Thermal stratification and Prandtl number parameters reduce the temperature, whereas thermal radiation and heat source parameters show reverse behavior. Numerical results are used to obtain the values of frictional drag, rate of heat and mass transfers. Finally, numerical results are compared with previous established work in a limiting case.

TL;DR: In this paper, the existence of a fixed point as well as the uniqueness of a mapping in an ordered b-metric space using a generalized weak contraction condition was explored, and some results were posed on a coincidence point and a coupled coincidence point of two mappings under the same contraction condition.
Abstract: We explore the existence of a fixed point as well as the uniqueness of a mapping in an ordered b-metric space using a generalized $$({\check{\psi }}, \hat{\eta })$$ -weak contraction. In addition, some results are posed on a coincidence point and a coupled coincidence point of two mappings under the same contraction condition. These findings generalize and build on a few recent studies in the literature. At the end, we provided some examples to back up our findings. In partially ordered b-metric spaces, it is discussed how to obtain a fixed point and its uniqueness of a mapping, and also investigated the existence of a coincidence point and a coupled coincidence point for two mappings that satisfying generalized weak contraction conditions.

TL;DR: Ultrafiltration with 50 kDa pore size and 20 psi pressure was found to be the best method for clarification of jamun juice having a prolong shelf life with optimum qualities.
Abstract: Ultrafiltration is one of the types of clarification process that was undertaken in this study together with examining and comparing the storage period of clarified juice by other methods (enzymatically treated, centrifugation, microfiltration). Centrifugation, ultrafiltration and microfiltration of jamun juice was carried out using a laboratory scale refrigerated centrifuge and filtration system. The juices obtained from various processes were evaluated on the basis of their physiochemical and microbial aspects over a period of 8 weeks. Enzyme treated and centrifuged juices were found to be degraded within 15–30 days while other juices had lesser changes in their properties. However microfiltered juice contained some yeasts and molds which increased with time. Ultrafiltration with 50 kDa pore size and 20 psi pressure was found to be the best method for clarification of jamun juice having a prolong shelf life with optimum qualities.

TL;DR: The results suggest that the efficacy of M. tinctoria Roxb aqueous leaf extract as a wound healing agent and can also be used as a therapeutic agent for internal as well as external wounds.
Abstract: This study investigated the wound healing properties of the aqueous extract of Morinda tinctoria Roxb leaves in rats. The study also provides information on the purification, qualitative, and quantitative analysis of phytochemical components present in M. tinctoria Roxb. Wound contraction and period of epithelialization was determined and topical application of M. tinctoria Roxb aqueous leaf extract showed better healing than orally treated and control groups. The results suggest that the efficacy of M. tinctoria Roxb aqueous leaf extract as a wound healing agent and can also be used as a therapeutic agent for internal as well as external wounds.

TL;DR: The in vitro evaluation of these compounds was performed to identify some initial hit molecules one of which showed dose dependent inhibition of PDE4B, and the methodology involved coupling of (trimethylsilyl)acetylene with iodoarenes in the presence of 10% Pd/C-CuI-PPh3-Et3N in MeOH.
Abstract: Background 3-Methyleneisoindolin-1-one derivatives containing a pyridin-2-ylmethyl substituent on their ring nitrogen were designed as potential bioactive agents. A one-pot synthesis of these compounds was achieved via sequential C-C coupling, followed by C-Si bond cleavage and subsequent tandem C-C/C-N bond forming reaction under ultrasound irradiation. Method The methodology involved coupling of (trimethylsilyl)acetylene with iodoarenes in the presence of 10% Pd/C-CuI-PPh3-Et3N in MeOH followed by treating the reaction mixture with K2CO3 in aqueous MeOH, and finally coupling with 2-iodo-N-(pyridin-2-ylmethyl)benzamide. The in vitro evaluation of these compounds was performed to identify some initial hit molecules one of which showed dose dependent inhibition of PDE4B.
