TL;DR: In this article, a sensor-based architecture is proposed to monitor the conditions of the farms by using sensors, and the information extracted from these sensors is stored on the Internet, which can be obtained and evaluated to forecast the condition of farms, according to a period of time.
Abstract: With the rapid development of the world population, large area of land is utilized to develop housing and the ability of producing food is reduced. Farming has become crucial in present trend and keeps food on the tables. Farming with IoT helps in mitigating the shortage of food by demanding the existing land for stronger utilization at minimum cost. Smart farming is a notion that quickly snaps on the agricultural field. This offers an automated farming techniques, useful data collection and high-rigor crop control. Sophisticated sensor-based architecture is proposed to monitor the conditions of the farms by using sensors, and the information extracted from these sensors is stored on the Internet. This stored information is obtained and evaluated to forecast the condition of farms, according to a period of time. Based on this evaluation, the necessary improvements can be made with better farming conditions in future.

TL;DR: This paper proposes the alternatives of writing a bootable ISO image to CD or DVD and shows how USB mass storage devices like Pen Drives or USB Disks can be able to boot from the ISO images without burning them to CD/DVD or not even extract its contents.
Abstract: Linux has evolved as a giant since its conception. Though there are number of operating systems developed based on open source and commercial versions, the basic kernel is Linux. There are a number of flavors in Open Source Linux Operating Systems and most of them can be downloaded from the internet. The downloaded Operating System is a bootable ISO image, which is to be written to either a CD or DVD depending on the size you have downloaded. If there is another way of testing those operating systems without wasting the CD or DVD, it would be very helpful for students as well as researchers. This paper proposes the alternatives of writing a bootable ISO image to CD or DVD. With the help of USB mass storage devices like Pen Drives or USB Disks, we are able to boot from the ISO images without burning them to CD/DVD or not even extract its contents.

TL;DR: The frequency distribution of POR *28 genetic variant was established in the south Indian population and the MAF was found to be 34.7% which was significantly different from other major ethnic groups.
Abstract: Objective: To establish the normative frequency of POR *28 genetic variant in South Indian population. Methods: This study is a genetic epidemiological study conducted on healthy volunteers belonging to south India. A total of 108 healthy volunteers who satisfied the eligibility criteria were included in the study. The DNA isolation was done using the QIAGEN Blood DNA isolation kit (Qiagen). The genotyping for POR *28 polymorphism was done using TaqMan genotyping master mix kits (Applied Biosystems) in real-time polymerase chain reaction platform. The data were analyzed using Fisher's exact test. P

TL;DR: This work describes a hybrid FCM using Bat optimization and Maxi-min classifier to decide the count of clusters and then pass that count to randomized fuzzy c-means algorithm, which improves the performance.
Abstract: Fuzzy c-means (FCM) is a frequently used clustering method because of its efficiency, simplicity and easy implementation. Major drawbacks of FCM are sensitivity to initialization and local convergence problem. To overcome the drawbacks, the proposed method describes a hybrid FCM using Bat optimization and Maxi-min classifier. Maxi-min classifier is used to decide the count of clusters and then pass that count to randomized fuzzy c-means algorithm, which improves the performance. Bat optimization is a global optimization method used for solving many optimization problems due to its high convergence rate. Two popular datasets from kaggle are used to show the comparison between proposed technique and the fuzzy c means algorithm in terms of performance. Experiment results showing that the proposed technique is efficient and the results are encouraging.

TL;DR: A strong support for the monophyly of achatinoid taxa is indicated with the focal sample nested deep within the clade and branched with conspecifics from other regions of the Indian subcontinent.
Abstract: The Giant African snail (Achatina fulica) is known to be a highly widespread and invasive species. However, none of the studies in India have shown whether there is any phylogenetic structure within the African giant snails of the Indian subcontinent. We have collected a sample of Achatina fulica from Odisha state, India and built a molecular phylogeny of achatinoid and non achatinoid taxa from across its distribution using a mitochondrial gene to infer whether the sample from Odisha is nested within the achatinoid taxa and also to notice whether the A. fulica is more closely related to the conspecifics from the Indian subcontinent or otherwise. Our results indicate a strong support for the monophyly of achatinoid taxa with our focal sample nested deep within the clade and branched with conspecifics from other regions of the Indian subcontinent. In addition, we also show that the family Orthalicidae is paraphyletic with respect to Streptaxida, a pattern that needs to be explored further in future studies.
