TL;DR: In this article, the authors proposed a methodology of sinusitis treatment by applying heating cooling effect and massaging action simultaneously, which can be used for other applications like back pain, muscular pain and knee pain relief.
Abstract: Sinusitis is an inflammation caused in the nasal passage due to cold, allergies or by nasal polyps. Sinusitis is a major Problem among one in eight people around the world. People are interested more in ailment of natural treatments than antibiotic and other medicines. The objective of this work is to provide relief from sinusitis pain through acupressure points. The proposed methodology of sinusitis treatment can be done by applying heating cooling effect and massaging action simultaneously. This paper deals with both the methods of treating the sinusitis. This system integrates an android mobile application with a hardware device that serves this purpose. A face mask which consists of motors and heating and cooling system embedded which can be controlled using user friendly mobile application. The similar methodology can be used for other applications like back pain, muscular pain and knee pain relief.

TL;DR: The N-arylbenzamides was found to have significant cytotoxic potentials against various cancer cells viz., A549 (lung cancer), HeLa (cervical cancer) and MCF-7 (breast cancer) using MTT assay.
Abstract: In this work, a series of 2-(1H-benzo[d]thiazole-2-yl)-N-arylbenzamides is synthesized by using diethyl phthalate, anilines and 2-amino-benzenethiol by one-pot three component synthesis in glycerol medium. Phosphoric acid is used as an effective reagent for this one-pot three component reaction. This reaction got completed in a short time, easy workup and gave an excellent yield in glycerol medium. The N-arylbenzamides was found to have significant cytotoxic potentials against various cancer cells viz., A549 (lung cancer), HeLa (cervical cancer) and MCF-7 (breast cancer) using MTT assay. The molecular docking study is also employed to understand the binding mechanism of N-arylbenzamides against the antibacterial target. The docking result shows the binding energy of compound 4a is -8.6 kcal/mol. The binding affinity is a major concern and it shows that Asn and Thr residues have an interaction with compound 4a.

TL;DR: In this paper, an ultra wideband slot antenna using coplanar waveguide (CPW) feed is proposed, which consists of a hexagonal shaped ground slot and a rectangular radiating patch.
Abstract: An ultra wideband slot antenna using coplanar waveguide (CPW) feed is proposed in this letter. The antenna consists of a hexagonal shaped ground slot and a rectangular radiating patch. Hexagonal ground plane provides a gradual variation in slot impedance due to tapered sections, resulting in wideband nature. The radiating patch is loaded with two notches accounting for ultra wideband nature. A metallic arm is embedded in the ground plane and is protruded into the hexagonal slot resulting in a frequency notch, thereby providing frequency isolation between WiMAX and WLAN band. The proposed antenna operates for entire ultra wideband range with rejecting the frequency band extending from 4.05GHz – 5.4GHz.

TL;DR: In this article, the OASYS GE Slope software has been used to analyze the homogeneous earth slopes for different cohesive strengths, and also study the improvement of stability of slopes using geomembrane and also consider the effect of ground water table on stability.
Abstract: In the aspect of geotechnical engineering problems, slope stability is a condition of inclined soil, waste heaps to withstand or undergo movement. Slope is an unprotected ground surface that can be necessitated at an angle of horizontal. Slopes are necessitated in the construction of railway embankments and highways, levees, bridges, earth dams, reservoirs and canals etc., and are generally less expensive. Failures of natural and man-made slopes have demise and demolition. Analysis and stability slopes consist of determining and comparing the shear stress developed along the potential rupture surface with the shear strength of the soil. The awareness of the surface drainage is very important factor. Slope stability can be evaluating the ground water, shear strength of the soil. For a secure slope, factor of safety should not be less than 1. In recent times, electronic computers made it feasible to more easily repetitious mechanism and the use of OASYS GE software has simplified the analysis to a great extent. In this present study, OASYS GE Slope software has been to analyze the homogeneous earth slopes for different cohesive strengths, and also we study the improvement of stability of slopes using geomembrane and we also consider the effect of ground water table on stability of slopes.

TL;DR: A novel hybrid kernel is presented to perform non-parametric kernel regression model for estimating neighbor pixels in the super-resolution after the face detection is performed using Viola-Jones algorithm.
Abstract: The necessity of recognizing a person from the low resolution non-frontal image is a challenging problem in video surveillance. For alleviating the problem of recognition in images with low resolution, literature presents different techniques for face recognition after converting the images of low resolution into images of high resolution. Accordingly, this paper presents a technique for multi-view face video super resolution using the tangential and exponential kernel weighted regression model. In this paper, a novel hybrid kernel is presented to perform non-parametric kernel regression model for estimating neighbor pixels in the super-resolution after the face detection is performed using Viola-Jones algorithm. The experimentation is performed with the UCSD face video databases, and the quantitative results are analyzed using the SDME with the existing techniques. From the resulting outcome, we prove that the maximum SDME of 77.3 dB is obtained by the proposed technique while comparing with the nearest interpolation, bicubic interpolation, and bilinear interpolation techniques.
