TL;DR: A straightforward synthesis of bis(CAAC)Ru indenylidene complexes, which are highly effective in the formation of both terminal and internal C=C bonds at loadings as low as 1 ppm, is reported.
Abstract: The state-of-the-art in olefin metathesis is application of N-heterocyclic carbene (NHC)-containing ruthenium alkylidenes for the formation of internal C=C bonds and of cyclic alkyl amino carbene (CAAC)-containing ruthenium benzylidenes in the production of terminal olefins. A straightforward synthesis of bis(CAAC)Ru indenylidene complexes, which are highly effective in the formation of both terminal and internal C=C bonds at loadings as low as 1 ppm, is now reported.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors derived analytical solutions for the zero-energy states of degenerate shell obtained as a singular eigenvalue problem found in tight-binding Hamiltonian of triangular graphene quantum dots with zigzag edges.
Abstract: We derive analytical solutions for the zero-energy states of degenerate shell obtained as a singular eigenvalue problem found in tight-binding (TB) Hamiltonian of triangular graphene quantum dots with zigzag edges. These analytical solutions are in agreement with previous TB and density-functional theory results for small graphene triangles and extend to arbitrary size. We also generalize these solutions to trapezoidal structure which allow us to study bowtie graphene devices.

TL;DR: Radial-Based Oversampling (RBO) method is proposed, which can find regions in which the synthetic objects from minority class should be generated on the basis of the imbalance distribution estimation with radial basis functions and offers an interesting alternative to popular state-of-the-art solutions for imbalanced data preprocessing.

01 Jan 2013TL;DR: A new approach to morphosyntactic tagging of Polish is presented by bringing together Conditional Random Fields and tiered tagging by taking advantage of a rich set of morphological features, which resort to an external morphological analyser.
Abstract: In this paper we present a new approach to morphosyntactic tagging of Polish by bringing together Conditional Random Fields and tiered tagging. Our proposal also allows to take advantage of a rich set of morphological features, which resort to an external morphological analyser. The proposed algorithm is implemented as a tagger for Polish. Evaluation of the tagger shows significant improvement in tagging accuracy on two state-of-the-art taggers, namely PANTERA and WMBT.
