Abstract: Two perylenediimide (PDI) derivatives (FP4TT2T and FP43T) with extended conjugation have been successfully synthesized. Due to their long fused D–A (D: donor and A: acceptor) molecular structures, PDI-based heteroacenes have rigid backbones and exhibit strong light absorption in the 300–600 nm range. With the contribution from the PDI moiety with strong electron affinity, the molecules possess low energy levels of LUMOs (ca. −3.7 eV), fitting well as acceptors for fullerene-free organic solar cells (OSCs). OSC devices containing FP4TT2T and FP43T were fabricated and fully characterized. It is found that the geometric twist in PDI-based heteroacenes as acceptors could enhance the performance of OSC devices. OSCs based on FP43T with a more twisted geometry achieved a power conversion efficiency of 6.05%, which is higher than those based on the FP4TT2T counterpart.

Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to establish the framework for the Comprehensive Information Emotion Theory(abbreviated for CIET) in which, after absorbing the latest research fruit of the comprehensive information theory and the emotional cognition theory, the author offered the definitions of the priori comprehensive information-knowledge of the subject and the posterior comprehensive information-knowledge of the subject and introduced the first and the second fundamental theorems of the CIET, from which this paper revealed the complex emotional variations are determined by the deviations of man's cognition(comprehensive information and knowledge), environment(nature and society), and physiological factors. The comprehensive emotional demonstration agrees with the theorem of the weighted linear stacking. The three principles of the CIET-the formative perception principle of the comprehensive information-knowledge of feeling, the content evaluation principle of the comprehensive information-knowledge of emotion, the utility value principle of the comprehensive information-knowledge of affection-was proposed from a new viewing angle, studying the integrative theory of the combination of emotion and cognition.

Abstract: Biopolyols were prepared by the liquefaction of rice straw under the mild condition. The optimum liquefaction effect was obtained at 5 : 1 volume ratio of PEG400 to DEG, 4 : 1 liquid–solid ratio, H2SO4 3%, time 2.5 h, and reaction temperature120°C. Products were characterized by FTIR and gel permeation chromatograms (GPC) measurements. The hydroxyl value and weight-average molecular weight of the biopolyol produced based on the above optimal conditions were 260 mg KOH/g polyol and 420 g mol–1, respectively. Biopolyol obtained is suitable for the preparation of rigid polyurethane foam. This study has certain significance for the high added value use of rice straw and reducing the production cost and improvement biodegradability of polyurethane foams.

Abstract: The mechanical properties of marble were studied using the MTS810 Rock Mechanics servo-controlled testing system at temperatures up to 800°C.This was done to analyze the stress-strain curve,peak stress,peak strain,and modulus of elasticity of marble.The results show that the peak stress and elastic modulus decrease with increasing temperatures,and the rock mechanical strength decreases suddenly in certain temperature ranges while the peak strain increases stepwise as the temperature rises.Marble ductility increased greatly at 800°C.The strain increases slowly as temperature rises after the peak stress occurs,but brittle fracturing is the main destructive manner of marble.The results also reflect the fundamental regulation of interior structural change in sandstone at different temperatures,providing a reference for rock engineering design.
