TL;DR: In this paper, a review article that highlights some key differences between male and female entrepreneurs in the Turkish labour market is presented, showing that female entrepreneurs often have similar reasons for starting their own businesses.
Abstract: This paper is a review article that highlights some key differences between male and female entrepreneurs in the Turkish labour market. A critical evaluation of the literature revealed that female entrepreneurs often have similar reasons for starting their own businesses.

TL;DR: This paper presents an algorithm to determine the existence of Hopf bifurcation for the delayed system with reaction–diffusion term along with Neumann boundary conditions, and determines the conditions on the delay parameter for thehopf bIfurcation to exist corresponding to the characteristic equation obtained by linearization of system.

16 Apr 2013TL;DR: A discrete artificial bee colony algorithm for solving the team orienteering problem with time windows (TOPTW) and a variable neighborhood descent (VND) algorithm is developed to enhance the solution quality.
Abstract: This paper presents a discrete artificial bee colony algorithm (DABC) for solving the team orienteering problem with time windows (TOPTW). The proposed algorithm employs a destruction and construction procedure to generate neighboring food sources in the framework of the DABC algorithm. In addition, a variable neighborhood descent (VND) algorithm is developed to enhance the solution quality. The performance of the algorithm was tested on a benchmark set from the literature. Experimental results show that the proposed DABC algorithm is competitive to the best performing algorithms from the literature. Ultimately, 11 instances are further improved by the proposed DABC algorithm.

Abstract: Control Network Programming (CNP) as a new programming paradigm has been presented elsewhere, and the CNP approach has been illustrated through solving representative typical applications, many of which belong to the AI area. This report aims at more fully specifying the interpretation of a CN program, and how the inherently nondeterministic CN program will be computed.

TL;DR: In this paper, a square-root domain, first order all-pass filter based on the MOSFET square law is presented. And the proposed filter is designed by using nonlinear mapping on the state variables of a state space description of the transfer function.
Abstract: In this paper, a new square-root domain, first order, all-pass filter based on the MOSFET square law is presented. The proposed filter is designed by using nonlinear mapping on the state variables of a state space description of the transfer function. To the best knowledge of the authors, the filter is the first square-root domain first order all-pass structure designed by using state space synthesis method in the literature. The center frequency of the all-pass filter is not only attainable at megahertz frequencies but also tunable by an external bias current. The proposed filter operated 2.5 V supply voltage is constructed by current mirrors, geometric mean circuits, a linear transconductor circuit, and a capacitor. SPICE simulations are given to approve the theoretical analysis.
