TL;DR: This study constituted on the quality values of logistics firms in the logistics sector, which is examined with key performance indicators through the integrated method of Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and SMART Goal Setting.
Abstract: Key Performance Indicators (KPI) has been outlined for implementing total quality management (TQM) across logistics sector. This study constituted on the quality values of logistics firms in the logistics sector, which is examined with key performance indicators through the integrated method of Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and SMART Goal Setting. The calculations were performed for logistics firms. The method used in this study is the integrated method of the AHP Method and SMART Goal Setting. The results highlight the most mentioned key performance indicators in the literature in a prioritized version also during the prioritizing process via AHP Method, the SMART Goal Setting approach also is applied.

01 Jan 2018TL;DR: A review of the literature reveals that these antecedents of CSR can be grouped into three main input categories as (1) micro or individual level, (2) meso or organizational level, and (3) macro or environmental level.
Abstract: One of the most interesting questions in CSR literature is about the drivers of companies to engage in CSR. In the literature, many scholars have attempted to address this question and the aim of the current chapter is to examine these drivers of CSR in a systematic manner. The review of the literature reveals that these antecedents of CSR can be grouped into three main input categories as (1) micro or individual level, (2) meso or organizational level, and (3) macro or environmental level. In the first level, the studies mainly focus on top managers by investigating the role of their gender, age, tenure, leadership styles, values etc. on the socially responsible activities. In the organizational variables, the impacts of ownership structure, board composition, strategy, culture, and employees, and other characteristics are discussed based on the findings of recent studies. As the last domain, environmental variables are analyzed at three levels of task environment, institutional environment, and global environment.

TL;DR: The glass formation abilities of various compositions in SrO-TiO2-Al2O3-SiO2 systems were studied in this paper, and the effect of P2O5 on the glass structure and crystallization behavior was also studied.
Abstract: The glass formation abilities of various compositions in SrO–TiO2–Al2O3–SiO2, SrO–TiO2–B2O3–SiO2, SrO–TiO2–Al2O3–B2O3, and SrO–TiO2–Al2O3–SiO2–B2O3 systems were studied. Many new compositions were found to be suitable for the casting of crack-free, optically clear glasses of different color and with glass transition temperatures ranging from 595 to 775 °C. The crystallization behavior, structure, and thermal expansion behavior of selected glasses were analyzed by DTA, XRD, dilatometry, and heat treatment. The effect of P2O5 on the glass structure and crystallization behavior was also studied. P2O5 played a dual role depending on composition. In some glasses it acted as a nucleating agent while in others it suppressed crystallization. Heat treatment of borate and borosilicate glasses transformed them into glass-ceramics while comparable SrO–TiO2–Al2O3–SiO2 glasses showed a lower tendency to crystallize and form glass-ceramics under the same conditions.

TL;DR: In this paper, a mathematical model and efficient iterated greedy algorithms, IG and IGALL, for the hybrid flowshop scheduling problem (HFSP) with total flow time criterion were presented.
Abstract: The hybrid flowshop scheduling problem (HFSP) has been extensively studied in the literature, due to its complexity and real-life applicability. Various exact and heuristic algorithms have been developed for the HFSP, and most consider makespan as the only criterion. The studies on HFSP with the objective of minimizing total flow time have been rather limited. This paper presents a mathematical model and efficient iterated greedy algorithms, IG and IGALL, for the HFSP with total flow time criterion. In order to evaluate the performance of the proposed IG algorithms, the well-known HFSP benchmark suite from the literature is used. As the problem is NP-hard, the proposed mathematical model is solved for all 87 instances under a time limit on CPLEX. Optimal results are obtained for some of these instances. The performance of the IG algorithms is measured by comparisons with these time-limited CPLEX results of the mathematical model. Computational results show that the proposed IG algorithms perform very well in terms of solution time and quality. To the best of our knowledge, for the first time in the literature, the results of flow time criterion have been reported for the HFSP benchmark suite.
