TL;DR: An implementation of multiobjective optimization for a rectangular façade design proposal in a healthcare building's common space using Non-Dominated Sorting Genetic Algorithm II and Multi-objective Self-Adaptive Ensemble Differential Evolution algorithms to discover desirable set of design alternatives.
Abstract: This paper presents an implementation of multiobjective optimization for a rectangular facade design proposal in a healthcare building's common space. Objectives are to maximize daylight performance and to minimize facade construction cost. The aim of this study is to enhance indoor comfort of an existing healthcare building by concerning cost-effective facade design alternatives subject to several constraints. To handle the problem, we formulate a multi-objective real-parameter constraint problem. In order to solve this, Non-Dominated Sorting Genetic Algorithm II (NSGA-II) and Multi-objective Self-Adaptive Ensemble Differential Evolution (jE_DEMO) algorithms are used. Finally, both algorithms are capable to discover desirable set of design alternatives.

TL;DR: Arastirma, bir kamu bankasinda calisan 200 kisiyle e-posta yoluyla anket yontemi kullanilarak yapilmistir.
Abstract: Bu calismanin amaci, kamu bankaciliginda uygulanan icsel pazarlama faaliyetlerinin is tatmini ve orgutsel baglilik uzerindeki dogrudan etkisini olcmektir. Icsel pazarlama orgutsel bagliliktaki degisimin % 43,3’unu, is tatminindeki degisimin % 35,6’sini aciklamaktadir.

TL;DR: While empirical regression models fail to generate accurate results for other channel cross-section shapes and sizes, the SKR model provides promising results due to the inclusion of a channel parameter at the core of its structure and also by operating on an extensive range of experimental data.

TL;DR: This article analyzed 199 doctoral theses that have been completed between 1985 and 2013 (Turkey) in cinema studies analyzed through a bibliometric method according to a series of specifications such as the number of theses per year, the disciplines which the doctoral study is undertaken, research topics, critical and theoretical bases, examined production types, geographical focus, language, and keywords.
Abstract: Postgraduate theses provide valuable data to ascertain the characteristics and tendencies of research in an academic field. In this research, 199 doctoral theses that have been completed between 1985 and 2013 (Turkey) in cinema studies analysed through a bibliometric method according to a series of specifications such as the number of theses per year, the disciplines which the doctoral study is undertaken, research topics, critical and theoretical bases, examined production types, geographical focus, language, and keywords. The conclusion points that while the quantity of doctoral theses has increased dramatically, sociological approach has gained importance. Moreover, Turkey’s cinema has become a common topic among the doctoral researches. keywords: bibliometrics, cinema, film studies, cinema studies, theses

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors propose a data replication strategy to simultaneously satisfy both the performance and provider profit in the cloud environment by heuristically performing data placement to satisfy query response times at a minimal cost for the provider.
Abstract: Meeting performance expectations of tenants without sacrificing economic benefit is a tough challenge for cloud providers. We propose a data replication strategy to simultaneously satisfy both the performance and provider profit. Response time of database queries is estimated with the consideration of parallel execution. If the estimated response time is not acceptable, bottlenecks are identified in the query plan. Data replication is realized to resolve the bottlenecks. Data placement is heuristically performed in a way to satisfy query response times at a minimal cost for the provider. We demonstrate the validity of our strategy in a performance evaluation study.
