TL;DR: The set U is defined and created a base for applying IOO method to get optimal schedules, and CloudSim version 3.0 has been used to test and analyse policies.
Abstract: In cloud computing, distributed resources are used on demand basis without having the physical infrastructure at the client end. Cloud has a large number of users and to deal with large number of task, so scheduling in cloud plays a vital role for task execution. Scheduling of various multitask jobs on clouds is considered as an NP-hard problem (Horng and Lin, 2017). In order to reduce the large scheduling search space, an iterative ordinal optimisation (IOO) method has already proposed. In this paper, a set of 30 candidate schedules denoted by set U are created. The set U is used in the exhaustive search of the best schedule. After analysing the set U, an ordered schedule vs. makespan graph is plotted. So in this work, set U is defined and created a base for applying IOO method to get optimal schedules. In this work, CloudSim version 3.0 has been used to test and analyse policies.

TL;DR: In this article, the reliability analysis and performance optimization of a refining system is dealt with and the results are highly beneficial to the maintenance personnel for the purpose of effective maintenance planning to enhance the overall performance of the refining system.
Abstract: This paper deals with the reliability analysis and performance optimisation of a refining system. The refining system is a complex system and comprises of four repairable subsystems connected in series or parallel configurations. Two subsystems namely filter and sulphonation are supported by standby units with perfect switch over devices. The mathematical modelling of the system based on Markov birth-death process is carried out to derive Chapman-Kolmogorov differential equations with the assumption that the failure and repair rate of each subsystem follows exponential distribution. These equations are solved by using an adaptive step-size control Runge-Kutta method to compute the reliability of the system and steady state availability is calculated using normalising condition, initial boundary conditions and recursive method. The performance of the system is optimised with genetic algorithm. It has been found that the subsystem heater is the most critical and has more impact on performance of the system as compare to other subsystems. The results are highly beneficial to the maintenance personnel for the purpose of effective maintenance planning to enhance the overall performance of the refining system.

TL;DR: A knowledge base of Book domain has created using Protégé triples in form of RDF triples which may be used in automatically filling up search interfaces for retrieving hidden Web data.
Abstract: Tremendous information present on the internet is available only when the user type set of keywords for search for getting the result pages. Those pages are often referred as Hidden Web. The components like hidden web crawler which wants to retrieve this hidden information has to fill the search interfaces automatically. For automatically filling these types of interfaces precise and relevant information is needed. A database that stores semantic information about objects and their relations may solve this purpose. This database can be defined with the help of Ontology defines common vocabulary. The work presented here mainly focuses on generating domain specific ontology for retrieving hidden web contents. In this paper a knowledge base of Book domain has created using Protege. All information stores as knowledge base in form of RDF triples . This Knowledge base may be used in automatically filling up search interfaces for retrieving hidden web data.

Abstract: Leagile manufacturing has emerged as an innovative strategy in the last two decades In this paper, critical success factors (CSFs), affecting leagile manufacturing, have been identified through literature review and discussion with industrialists and academics Fuzzy decision making trial and evaluation laboratory (DEMATEL) technique have been applied to divide the CSF's into cause and effect categories It has been found that critical success factors 1 (collaborative relationship), 3 (strategic management), 5 (customer and market sensitiveness), 7 (human resource management), 11 (flexible manufacturing system), 12 (knowledge and IT management), 14 (availability of funds), and 15 (benchmarking) falls under cause group while critical success factors like 2 (management support towards implementation of policy), 4 (training and development programs), 6 (design and engineering), 8 (virtual enterprises), 9 (use of advance manufacturing technologies), 10 (supply chain management), and 13 (rapid reconfiguration) falls under effect group The research will help the managers to identify the key factors and work accordingly in proper directions to implement leagile system in their organisations Leagile system results in increased profitability, better quality of products, better customer satisfaction, better sales, increased productivity, increased sales, reduced manufacturing lead time, etc

TL;DR: A new authentication algorithm by using mobile agent technology that reduces the traffic around the authenticator to a great extent as compared to the client server based mechanism.
Abstract: Mobile agent technology is continuously evolving and generating lot of attention among researchers. This paper proposes a new authentication algorithm by using mobile agent technology. The proposed algorithm uses device signature based mechanism for authentication of the device on mobile agent based framework. Device features have been extracted for some specific values and from these features the device fingerprint is generated for the authentication. Research paper describes the device fingerprint extraction, registration and authentication algorithm. As the traffic on the internet is growing at a rapid rate, there is also the need of a technique to reduce the traffic on the internet. Comparison analysis of the proposed algorithm and comparison with the traditional client server based mechanism is done in terms of network traffic. The proposed algorithm reduces the traffic around the authenticator to a great extent as compared to the client server based mechanism. It can also be useful against various attacks in wireless networks, like man in the middle or fake access point etc.
