TL;DR: The study found that from 2003 to 2016, China’s total-factor energy efficiency showed a fluctuating trend of “falling first and then rising,” and due to the low conversion rate of scientific and technological achievements in China, the impact of technological innovation input on total-Factor energy efficiency is not significant.
Abstract: The promotion of industrial restructuring and technological innovation is the most important and realistic way of improving energy efficiency. This thesis uses the modified Super-SBM method to measure China’s total-factor energy efficiency and then uses the dynamic spatial panel model (DSPM) to verify the effect of industrial structure and technological innovation on total-factor energy efficiency. The study found that from 2003 to 2016, China’s total-factor energy efficiency showed a fluctuating trend of “falling first and then rising.” The inflection point appeared in 2012; total-factor energy efficiency in the Eastern region was significantly higher than the national average, while in the Central and Western regions, it was significantly lower. The results of the analysis show that both the service adjustment of the inter-industry structure and the productivity growth of the intra-industry structure significantly promote improvements in total-factor energy efficiency. However, due to the low conversion rate of scientific and technological achievements in China, the impact of technological innovation input on total-factor energy efficiency is not significant. This is in contradistinction to technological innovation output which does significantly improve total-factor energy efficiency. The above research conclusion is still robust and reliable after changing the measurement method and spatial weight matrix.

TL;DR: Using the highly entangled six-qubit genuine state, this protocol is presented, which enables two users to compare the equality of two bits of their secrets in every round comparison with the assistance of a semi-honest third party (TP).
Abstract: Using the highly entangled six-qubit genuine state we present a quantum private comparison (QPC) protocol, which enables two users to compare the equality of two bits of their secrets in every round comparison with the assistance of a semi-honest third party (TP). The proposed protocol needs neither unitary operations nor quantum entanglement swapping technology, both of which may consume expensive quantum devices. Single particle measurements and Bell-basis measurements, which are easy to implement with current technologies, are employed by two users and TP in the proposed protocol, respectively. The proposed protocol can withstand all kinds of outside attacks and participant attacks. Moreover, none of information about the two users' private secrets and the comparison result is leaked out to TP.

TL;DR: Green TP could be developed as a new QS inhibitor for seafood preservation to enhance shelf life and transcriptional analysis showed that green TP repressed the luxS and torA genes in S. baltica, which agreed with the observed reductions in QS activity and the spoilage phenotype.
Abstract: We investigated the quorum sensing (QS) system of Shewanella baltica and the anti-QS related activities of green tea polyphenols (TP) against spoilage bacteria in refrigerated large yellow croaker. Autoinducer-2 (AI-2) and the diketopiperazines (DKPs) cyclo-(L-Pro-L-Leu) and cyclo-(L-Pro-L-Phe) were detected in the culture extract of S. baltica XH2, however, no N-acylhomoserine lactones (AHLs) activity was observed. Green TP at sub-inhibitory concentrations interfered with AI-2 and DKPs activities of S. baltica without inhibiting cell growth and promoted degradation of AI-2. The green TP treatment inhibited biofilm development, exopolysaccharide production and swimming motility of S. baltica in a concentration- dependent manner. In addition, green TP decreased extracellular protease activities and trimethylamine production in S. baltica. A transcriptional analysis showed that green TP repressed the luxS and torA genes in S. baltica, which agreed with the observed reductions in QS activity and the spoilage phenotype. Epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG)-enriched in green TP significantly inhibited AI-2 activity of S. baltica. These findings strongly suggest that green TP could be developed as a new QS inhibitor for seafood preservation to enhance shelf life.
