TL;DR: In this article, the effect of series resistance on the photovoltaic output and the p-n junction characteristics of solar energy converter cells is investigated. But, as shown in Figure 1, this method requires two translations of the coordinate system and requires only the knowledge of the series resistance and the difference in light intensity or short circuit currents.

TL;DR: The history of the thin-film CdS solar cell is traced from its first reduction to practice in 1955 to the present as discussed by the authors, and the major factors which contributed to the evolution of the present 4-8% large area light weight cell are discussed.

••
TL;DR: In this article, it was shown that the theoretical maximum value of ZT at room temperature for n-type material is about 0·65 (Z = 2·2 × 10−3/°K), as determined from the characteristic curve of κ/σT versus Seebeck coefficient based on the above model.

TL;DR: In this article, a procedure for making thermal diffusivity measurements of semiconducting materials in the presence of a 2-Mev electron beam is described, where the beam enters the upper surface of a specimen 1 mm or less in thickness held in an insulating support while a strong horizontal flow of air passes across the upper surfaces to prevent the material from melting.

TL;DR: In this paper, contact-resistance measurements have been made on Bi 2 Te 3 alloys, Ag 2 Te, and Ag 2 Se, using an a.c. potential-probing method.
