TL;DR: In this article, the yield stress in neutron- irradiated Cu single crystals is governed by the stress required to generate dislocations rather than that required to move existing dislamps.
Abstract: >Annealed crystals and crystals prestressed to various levels were subjected to neutron irradiation, and the yield stresses were subsequently determined. The increase of yield stress due to radiation damage was much higher for lower initial stress levels. Apparently, the yield stress in neutron- irradiated Cu single crystals is governed by the stress required to generate dislocations rather than that required to move existing dislocations. (D.C.W.)

TL;DR: Stimulated Brillouin scattering of intense laser light with build-up of coherent hypersonic waves in liquids was studied in this article, where the authors showed that it is possible to construct a coherent coherent HWA in liquids.

TL;DR: Finite laser pulse time effects on temperature wave retardation in flash diffusivity techniques were investigated in this article, where the authors showed that the effect of the laser pulses on the temperature wave was negligible.
