TL;DR: This laboratory will demonstrate two passive processes, diffusion and osmosis, which cross the cell membrane by passive processes that do not require an expenditure of energy.
Abstract: The cell membrane forms a boundary that is essential for life. This boundary supports life by controlling the movement of molecules and substances across it. Some molecules and substances are transported across the cell membrane by processes that require the expenditure of energy. However, many molecules cross the cell membrane by passive processes that do not require an expenditure of energy. In this laboratory we will demonstrate two passive processes, diffusion and osmosis.

TL;DR: Regular physical aerobic exercise increases the parasympathetic tone and is beneficial for restoration of the disordered S/PS balance in young hypertonics, and can be used as non-pharmacological treatment of arterial hypertension.
Abstract: It was shown that dysregulation of the cardiovascular system plays an important role in the development of arterial hypertension. Sympathetic drive can be increased mainly in cases of borderline and essential hypertension. The rise in sympathetic activity is not well balanced by the adequate increase in parasympathetic activity, even the PS tone is diminished. Relative sympathotony can occur beside the absolute sympathotony due to the decrease in the PS tone with normal or quantitatively less diminished sympathetic drive. The cause of the ANS activity dysbalance remains unknown. Probably there exist disorders of generator and modulator activities in higher levels of CNS, baroreceptor regulation and other peripheral (humoral and other) mechanisms. Adequate and appropriate recording of different cardiovascular parameters mainly during activation of ANS by maneuvers (orthostasis, Valsalva, etc.) is necessary. Beat-to-beat registrations of blood pressure (e.g. by Penaz method FINAPRES), heart rate (RR intervals) are necessary for the evaluation of short term blood pressure and heart rate fluctuations. Important information about S/PS activities and the balance in heart rate regulation can be achieved by spectral and non-linear analysis of the HR variability. Regular physical aerobic exercise increases the parasympathetic tone and is beneficial for restoration of the disordered S/PS balance in young hypertonics. It can be used as non-pharmacological treatment of arterial hypertension.

TL;DR: New skeletal muscle cells originate from quiescent satellite cells, which reside in the muscle fibers between the basal lamina and the sarcolemma, and can be induced to differentiate into multinucleated syncytia using PromoCell Skeletal Muscle Cell Differentiation Medium.
Abstract: New skeletal muscle cells originate from quiescent satellite cells, which reside in the muscle fibers between the basal lamina and the sarcolemma. Quiescent satellite cells are activated by stimuli such as muscle damage. After activation, the cells, now called myoblasts, start to proliferate and fuse with damaged muscle fibers or with one another forming new myotubes. PromoCell offers a range of Human Skeletal Muscle Cells produced at PromoCell’s cell culture facility from normal human skeletal muscle tissue from different locations, e.g. M. pectoralis major or M. gluteus maximus (lot specific source information is available on request). The PromoCell Human Skeletal Muscle Cells can be induced to differentiate into multinucleated syncytia using PromoCell Skeletal Muscle Cell Differentiation Medium (see Instruction Manual “Skeletal Muscle Cell Media”). Shortly after isolation, all PromoCell Human Skeletal Muscle Cells are cryopreserved at passage 2 (P2) using PromoCell ́s proprietary, serum-free freezing medium, Cryo-SFM. Each cryo vial contains more than 500,000 viable cells after thawing. Proliferating cell cultures are made from 500,000 cryopreserved cells that have been thawed and cultured for three days at PromoCell.
