Abstract: Various driving modes of mechanical press have been expounded in the text. Various driving motor of servo press have been analyzed and compared,such as DC servo motor,AC servo motor,switched reluctance motor and transverse flux motor. The characteristics of various motor have been analyzed as well as their application on press. It is pointed out that transverse flux motor of servo press has obvious value of theory and practical application by its excellent characteristics of low speed.

Abstract: Springback in sheet metal forming is the reverse elastic deformation during the process of unloading process, which is a widespread physics phenomenon. At present, more commercial CAE software could simulate the course of springback during the sheet metal stamping process,but the simulation precision is still difficult for the numerical simulation. The main factors which impact the simulation accuracy of springback have been analyzed in the text in details. The development of simulation and compensation techniques of springback at home and abroad have been summarized,which is helpful for making a reasonable technology in stamping process, amending die sizes, as well as compensating errors of springback in the die design process by considering the key factors of springback.

TL;DR: In this article, a two-step surface registration method combining ICP algorithm and genetic algorithm optimization has been proposed to calculate the shape error between the formed workpiece and its CAD model in reverse engineering.
Abstract: In order to calculate the shape error between the formed work-piece and its CAD model in reverse engineering,two-step surface registration method combining ICP algorithm and Genetic Algorithm optimization has been proposed. With Genetic Algorithm method,the initial surface error has been calculated by aligning the data from different coordinate system in first rough registration step.ICP algorithm method has been employed to calculate the surface error further in second step.The global optimal registration result can be obtained while the local convergence has been avoided in the algorithm. Due to its rapid convergence characteristic,it is not only used in analysis and amending of the curved surface error after multi-point forming,but also in the comparison between measure results of different smooth curved surface in other industry.

Many instances prove that under loading and ramming specific component, the difference between the trough minimum value and the wave ridge maximum in the bottom dead center oscillogram is a definite value. The calculation methods under two special situations have been put forward.

Abstract: The tube spinning process of cast titanium alloy has been analyzed with the reason for defect in this spinning process discussed. The microstructure and mechanical properties of spun work piece have been analyzed. The results show that the cast titanium alloy can be spun with appropriate processing parameters, then the obvious fiber organization has been formed, and then the casting crystal grain can be hardly found when reduction is over 72 percent, finally the strength and plasticity of the product have been increased.

Abstract: The bottom dead center of some high-speed press at idle-load and load has been measured by using model Rm-72 BC testing apparatus. The BDC varying data has been obtained and analyzed when changing the slide running speed,weight of slide,weight of dynamical counterbalance or running time at idle-load. The testing results show that if the weight of slide,the running speed or the running time increase,the BDC would deviate downwards, but the variation of the counterbalance's weight would not affect the change of BDC obviously. The BDC of poly-type of high-speed presses has been tested at idle load,and difference in BDC wave has been found. The tests show that the shape of BDC wave would change along with the increase of speed,also the high-speed press with different configuration would have difference on oscillogram. These findings may helpful to control the BDC precision of the high-speed press.

Abstract: B410LA is high-strength steel plate which is often used in car body.Stress-strain curves of B410LA at different strain rates have been obtained through tensile test and tensile impact test. From the stress- strain curves obtained,it is found that the strength of B410LA increases along with the increase of strain rates.The constitutive relation of B410LA has been obtained through fitting of the stress - strain curves,which offers reliable material parameters for CAE.

Abstract: Based on the construction features of straight single-point press made by our company, by using Solid Edge program, a model of framework frame has been built. The frame strength and rigidity have been analyzed by FEM software——Femap With Nastran. The structural stress and deformation distribution have been obtained by means of restricting the corresponding degree of freedom and adding to nominal loading in accordance with the actual requirements, which provides a reliable structural reasonable design with theory proof.

Abstract: The excellent bars have been obtained through extrusion process to FGH96 alloy in the text. The microstructure of FGH96 alloy has been analyzed by using DMLM microscope. The results show that the PPB of FGH96 alloy has been broken up completely after extrusion. Meantime,small and symmetrical grain has been gained. The size of grain is about 3~10um. The distribution and morphology of γ' phase have been observed by Leica DMLM microscope. The result was that γ' phase has been broken and distribute the boundary of grain after extrusion.At the same time,the plastic deformation of FGH96 alloy has been studied by JEM-2010EX transmission electron microcopy.

Abstract: As the defects of getting thinner,crack,wrinkle during manufacturing the thin-walled tube with small radius process,by use of the world advanced technology-internal high pressure forming process,the new technique combined medium pressure forming and bending tube process has been obtained. Abstract: The main reason for high energy consumption and low effect in forming machine industry is that the unmatching between large loading at periodic peak and rigid uncontrollable driving.The crucial issues in driving process of energy-saving forming machine have been introduced in the text,such as,controllable velocity,adjustable volume,be ready to stop,energy-recycle.The AC servo motor based on large power solves the unmatching issue,which implements the automation,intelligence,and energy-saving.Taking the crank press,hydraulic press,and screw press as example,the theory analysis and test have been conducted.The servo driving can reduce the consumption of energy by 25%-70%.
