TL;DR: The correlations of the different host plants with preference level, life duration and survival rate of S. litura Fabricius show that the most preference plants are Ver. cormosus, Nelumbo nucifera, brassica oleracea, Brassica chinensis, Ipomoea aquatica, Brassicas compestris, Gossypium hirsutum, Glycine max, Raphanus sativus, Vigna sesquipedalis
Abstract: The correlations of the different host plants with preference level, life duration and survival rate of S. litura Fabricius show that the most preference plants of S. litura Fabricius are Ver. cormosus, Nelumbo nucifera, Brassica oleracea, Brassica chinensis, Ipomoea aquatica, Brassica compestris, Gossypium hirsutum, Glycine max, Raphanus sativus, Vigna sesquipedalis, Basella alba, respectively. The preference plants are Arachis hypogaea, Sesamum indicum, Polygonum lapathifolium, Marsilea quadrifolia, Ipomoea batatas, Phaseolus radicalum, Cucumis sativus, respectively. The secondary host plant are others. There are significant differences among the duration of larvae, weight of pupa and emerging rate when the larvae are fed on the different host plants. The duration of larvae is shorter, the pupae are weighter and the emerging rate is higher when the larvae are fed on Colocasia esculenta, Ipomoea aquatica, Brassica chinensis, Brassica oleralea, Vigna sesquipedalis, Nelumbo nucifera, etc. The duration of larvae is longer, the pupae are smaller and the emerging rate is lower when the larvae are fed on Gossypium hirsutum, Glycine max, and Helianthus annuus.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors calculated the economic value supported by human activities and part of the ecosystem services by natural process, which is 64.7% of the total value and the rest 35.3% of total value is not calculated in the conventional calculation of annual output by plantation which is 688106 million yuan.
Abstract: Field ecosystem can produce ecosystem services and economic production with the annual total value of 1950910 million yuan to human beings contributed by natural and anthropogenic process. In the total value supported by food production,41.9% is supplied by natural process and 58.1% is contributed by human activities, such as seeding, planting, irrigating and so on.However, only the economic value supported by human activities and part of the ecosystem services by natural process are computed which is 64.7% of the total value and the rest 35.3% of total value is not calculated in the conventional calculation of annual output by plantation which is 688106 million yuan.According to these data, the highest level of public financial allowance supported by the government to food production can be 5140 yuan/hm~2·ɑ,due to the public services supplied by plantation in the process of food production.

TL;DR: The study identifies that the basic reason for the continuous cropping obstacles and allelopathic autotoxicity of medicinal plant is the homology of autotoxic-allelochemicals and pharmaceutical active substances.
Abstract: In this paper, the concept, mechanism and action mode of allelopathic autotoxicity of medicinal plants were discussed. The study identifies that the basic reason for the continuous cropping obstacles and allelopathic autotoxicity of medicinal plant is the homology of autotoxic-allelochemicals and pharmaceutical active substances.Accordingly, the relationship between the causes of the obstacles and the autotoxicity of allelochemicals in medicinal plants are also analyzed. Comprehensive agronomic methods based on rhizospheric soil microflora systems research using DGGE, T-RFLP and other related techniques are proposed. This reduces the in-

TL;DR: Compared with the recommended background value by China National Environmental Monitoring Center (CNEMC) in 1990, As and Hg are low, Pb and Zn slightly lower, while Cd and Cr are high and Cu and Ni slightly higher than CNEMC standards.
Abstract: The background values of soil heavy metals (As, Cd, Cr, Cu, Hg, Ni, Pb and Zn) were investigated based on extensive investigation in the Three Gorges Reservoir District (TGRD). After analyzing the samples under strict quality control and assurance procedures, the heavy metal concentrations in the soils were calculated using simple statistical method. The background soil values of the heavy metals in TGRD are 5.835 mg·kg-1 for As, 0.134 mg·kg-1 for Cd, 78.03 mg·kg-1 for Cr, 25.00 mg·kg-1 for Cu, 0.046 mg·kg-1 for Hg, 29.47 mg·kg-1 for Ni, 23.88 mg·kg-1 for Pb and 69.88 mg·kg-1 for Zn. Compared with the recommended background value by China National Environmental Monitoring Center (CNEMC) in 1990, As and Hg are low, Pb and Zn slightly lower, while Cd and Cr are high and Cu and Ni slightly higher than CNEMC standards. Based on the research, actual conditions are only realistically reflected by continuous field environmental quality appraisal in TGRD, which favors soil environmental quality management.
