TL;DR: In this paper, the factors influencing the structure of soil microorganism community were reviewed, which mainly included: physical and chemical properties of the soil;mutual effect of the ground microbial communities, diversity of the terrestrial soil fauna and diversity of its flora; anthropic measures of management.
Abstract: Soil microorganisms play an important role in the whole terrestrial ecosystemThey drive the cycling of the matter and energy and have a close relationship with the stabilization of the whole terrestrial ecosystemIn this article, the factors influencing the structure of soil microorganism community were reviewedThese factors mainly included: physical and chemical properties of the soil;mutual effect of the soil microorganism, diversity of the soil fauna and diversity of the flora and different anthropic measures of managementSuch researches as the relation between the structure of soil microorganism community and their function in the terrestrial ecosystem, controlling rightly the structure of soil microorganism community and maintaining the stabilization of the whole terrestrial ecosystem were suggested to be the future key contents in soil science

TL;DR: The area of these saline soil resources in the Northeast is 9.4% of all country saline soils and has important strategic position as discussed by the authors, which has been a new type of artificial ecosystem.
Abstract: The investigation of region soil indicate that the approximate area of saline soil in Northeast China is 7.66×10~6hm~2,the proportion of saline soil area in SongNen plain,Western LiaoHe River alluvial plain,LiaoHe River alluvial plain and HuLunBei,er Nei Monggol highland is 39.3%,30.3%,12.8%,9.3% and 7.9%,respectively.SanJiang plain is only 0.4%.Soil survey in different district in 1980s received alike result. In these saline soil area, the percentage area of potential saline soil is about 34%.The exploitation and utilization of saline soil has made considerable progress, compared with the 50s of 20century to the 80s the cultivated land of saline soils area has increaced from 21.4% to 37.8% of all cultivated land area .The soil of paddy field are desalting in common and crops gain high and stable yield. It has been a new type of artificial ecosystem. In dryland, crop yield keeps up a steady increase too.But in some regions, soil desalinate situation is not stable, the area of saline soil tend to go up,and its salinity aggravate, production ability of the land generally descend. The area of these saline soil resource in the Northeast is 9.4% of all country saline soils and has important strategic position.Toachieve the goal of exploitation and utilization and agricultural sustained development is yet a very arduous duty.

TL;DR: In this article, the results showed that the reproducibility of ultraviolet spectrophotometry was better than potassium permanganate volumetric method, and the absorbency of solution of soil extract in 240 nm had no visible changes after stored 11 h.
Abstract: Catalase is an important enzyme in soil.In order to find a simple, reliable and applicable method to measure the activity of soil catalase, the experiment to determine the catalase activity in soil by ultraviolet spectrophotometry was conducted. The results showed that the reproducibility of ultraviolet spectrophotometry was better than potassium permanganate volumetric method. The absorbency of solution of soil extract in 240 nm had no visible changes after stored 11 h.The results from 4 soils indicated that there was no significant difference between ultraviolet spectrophotometry and potassium permanganate volumetric method. The addition of sulfate acid before filtration in traditional volumetric method led to a colored and turbid solution, and long filtration time. The color and turbidity in soil extract was disadvantage to measure the absorbency.Adding alum saturated solution before filtration and then filtrating in a utensil with 5 ml sulfate acid(1.5 mol L-1) could gain a colorless and transparent soil extract and shorten the filtrating time.In conclusion, with high reproducibility and stability, simple operation,no special reagent and avoidance of the error in titrimetry, ultraviolet spectrophotometry was a valuable method and worth of popularization in determination of soil catalase activity.
