Abstract: Muzeji su neformalna okruženja za ucenje, u kojima je ucenje istinski motivirano i procesirano preko znatiželje, promatranja i raznih aktivnosti. Proces takva ucenja može biti drugaciji od procesa ucenja koje vežemo uz formalna okruženja. Posebna prilika koju muzeji nude jest eksperimentalna priroda ucenja koja se temelji na susretima sa stvarnim objektima. U neformalnim okruženjima kognitivno i afektivno ucenje su povezani i mogu se nadograditi. Cilj ovog rada bio je istražiti stavove studenata o ucenju u muzeju, njegovoj ucinkovitosti i pozitivnim konotacijama na odgoj i obrazovanje djece. Istraživan je utjecaj varijable spola na oblikovanje stavova. U istraživanju je sudjelovalo 380 studenata, od toga 140 muskaraca i 240 žena. Studenti su visoko ocijenili znacaj takva nacina ucenja, smatraju ga ucinkovitim i potrebnim u odgoju i obrazovanju ucenika. Dobiveni rezultati trebali bi aktualizirati temu poticanja sveobuhvatnije suradnje muzeja i odgojno-obrazovnih ustanova.

Abstract: There have been only a few attempts so far of setting journalism education in the context of sustainability, but there is not the theoretical proposition of the general paradigm of sustainable journalistic education. By critical analysis of the tradition of journalism education and research of it, the paper identifies all emergences of journalistic education in the context of development and sustainability. Based on the evolution of academic proposals to advance journalism education, most current references are aimed at updating journalistic knowledge and acquiring skills connected to the technological revolution leading to substantial media change, journalistic genres convergence, journalism producing trends, different subjects that create journalism and new socially important topics, all followed by upgraded media ethics and laws mirroring the importance of strong links between academy, profession and the public. In complex global surroundings, however, while the media form realities, impose understandings and meanings, follow us everywhere and fully participate in our lives, education of journalists should be understood much deeper and taken more seriously than ever. Apart from being professionally educated, autonomous and responsible, (self)-conscious humanists are needed to cope and properly respond to such challenges. The sustainable cycle of journalism education could answer those needs by focusing on the academic outcome of a journalist as a whole human being if the holistic education perspective is applied. Based on the Journalistic Personality Model, the aim of this theoretical paper is to elaborate on the concept of sustainable journalism education and its advantages. Key Words: holistic education, journalism curriculum, Journalistic Personality Model, sustainable development, sustainable journalism education Do sada je zabilježeno tek nekoliko pokusaja postavljanja novinarskog obrazovanja u kontekst održivoga razvoja, ali ne i teorijski prijedlog opce paradigme održivoga novinarskog obrazovanja. Kritickom analizom tradicije obrazovanja novinara i istraživanja o njemu, rad utvrđuje sve pojavnosti novinarskog obrazovanja u kontekstu razvoja i održivosti. Najnovije reference se, kao rezultat evolucije akademskih prijedloga za unapređenje novinarstva, usmjeravaju na ažuriranje novinarskog znanja i stjecanje vjestina povezanih s tehnoloskom revolucijom kao uzrokom znacajnih medijskih promjena, konvergencije novinskih žanrova, trendova koji stvaraju novinarstvo, razlicitih tema koje stvaraju novinarstvo i nove drustveno važne teme, a sve slijede nadograđenu etiku medija (i novinarstva) te zakone koji sve vise odražavaju važnost snažnih veza između akademije, profesije i javnosti. Međutim, u složenom globalnom okruženju u kojemu mediji oblikuju stvarnost, namecu razumijevanja i znacenja, prate nas svugdje i potpuno sudjeluju u nasem životu, obrazovanje novinara treba razumijevati dublje i ozbiljnije nego ikada. Osim profesionalno obrazovanih, autonomnih i odgovornih novinara, s takvim se izazovima trebaju nositi i na njih odgovarati - (samostalno) svjesni humanisti. Usredotocujuci se na akademski ishod novinara kao cjelovitog ljudskog bica, na te bi se potrebe moglo odgovoriti održivim ciklusom novinarskog obrazovanja. Stoga se ovim radom predlaže Model novinarske licnosti kao predložak za uvođenje održivoga obrazovanja novinara u visokoskolske institucije. Abstract: The purpose of this study was to inform about some of the current applications and literature on Augmented Reality (AR) technology in education and to present experimental data about the effectiveness of AR application in a language classroom at the elementary level in Turkey. The research design of the study was quasi-experimental. Sixty-one 5th grade students from a state elementary school participated in this research on a volunteer basis. The participants were divided into the experimental and control group, where new vocabulary items were introduced to the experimental group through augmented reality technology. A post-test and a retention test were administered upon the implementation of the program. The results of the study revealed that participants from the experimental group achieved higher scores than participants in the control group and they also performed better in recalling the learnt information. This study suggested that the use of AR technology in a language classroom at the elementary level increased learners’ performances and made vocabulary learning more effective in comparison with the traditional methods. Key words: augmented reality; AR technology in language learning; educational technology; technology and language learning. --- Sažetak Svrha ovoga istraživanja bila je predociti neke od aktualnih primjena tehnologije prosirene stvarnosti (dalje u tekstu AR tehnologije) i literature vezane uz AR tehnologiju u obrazovanju. Nadalje, cilj je bio prikazati eksperimentalne podatke o ucinkovitosti primjene AR tehnologije u nastavi jezika na razini osnovne skole u Turskoj. Istraživanje je polueksperimentalne prirode. Uzorak se sastojao od 61 ucenika petoga razreda osnovne skole koji su dobrovoljno sudjelovali u istraživanju. Ucenici su bili podijeljeni u dvije skupine: eksperimentalnu i kontrolnu. U eksperimentalnoj skupini ucenici su se susreli s novim vokabularom koristeci se AR tehnologijom. Posttest i test pamcenja provedeni su nakon zavrsetka programa. Rezultati istraživanja otkrili su da su ucenici u eksperimentalnoj skupini ostvarili bolje rezultate od ucenika u kontrolnoj skupini te su također bili bolji u prisjecanju naucenoga. Ovim istraživanjem pokazalo se da upotreba AR tehnologije u nastavi jezika na razini osnovne skole povecava postignuca ucenika te je ucenje vokabulara ucinkovitije u odnosu na tradicionalne metode poucavanja. Abstract: Research about leisure and its meanings from cultural perspectives is receiving more and more attention. The purpose of this study is to explore the meanings of leisure and preferred recreational activities among Turkish students. A sample of 691 university students completed a survey about leisure meanings and preferred recreational activities. As a new concept in Turkey, leisure is found to be associated most with subscales related to work, perceived competence, social interaction, and perceived freedom. Particular activities are also associated with specific meanings subscales. Individuals participating in sports, social activities, and outdoor recreation are more likely to see perceived competence as important. Opportunities for active and passive activities are associated most often with sports, outdoor, cultural arts, and tourism activities. Results suggest that although broad meanings of leisure are important, specific activities may make the meanings more salient in a cultural context. Key words: academic interests; experiential paradigm; gender; recreation. ***** Sažetak Istraživanje slobodnog vremena i njegovih znacenja iz kulturalne perspektive dobiva sve vise pozornosti. Svrha ove studije jest istražiti znacenja slobodnog vremena i rekreacijskih aktivnosti među turskim studentima. Uzorak od 691 sveucilisnog studenta ispunio je istraživanje o znacenjima slobodnog vremena i omiljenim rekreacijskim aktivnostima. Kao sasvim novi pojam u Turskoj, slobodno vrijeme najcesce se povezuje s podkategorijama vezanima uz posao, s dojmom o kompetencijama, drustvenom interakcijom i dojmom o slobodi. I određene aktivnosti također se povezuju sa specificnim znacenjskim podkategorijama. Pojedinci koji se bave sportom i rekreacijom na otvorenom, te su ukljuceni u drustvene aktivnosti, izglednije ce doživljavati kompetencije kao nesto važno. Prilike za aktivne i pasivne aktivnosti ponajvise se povezuju sa sportom, umjetnoscu i kulturom, turizmom i aktivnostima na otvorenom. Rezultati ukazuju na to da iako su sira znacenja slobodnog vremena važna, specificne aktivnosti mogu obogatiti znacenja u kulturalnom kontekstu. Abstract: Relative and absolute reliability are discussed in this paper on the bases of some empirical motor data. Relative reliability was assessed via the calculation of intraclass correlation coefficients (ICC; Shrout & Fleiss, 1979; Nunnally & Berstein, 1994). Absolute reliability was assessed by calculating standard error of measurement (SEM), and additionally by calculating the smallest detectable change (SDC; de Veet et al., 2006a, b), a relatively new measure which originates from clinical disciplines but has an ever-growing use in other areas. Bland-Altman method (1986, 1995) for determining the limits of agreement and bias between two measurements, was also used. ICC coefficients were high with narrow limits of confidence but ICC masked some differences in trials revealed by SEM and Bland-Altman technique. As stated in Hopkins (2000), and Atkinson and Nevill (1998), more than one measure of reliability should be provided in reliability studies. Key words: Bland-Altman limits of agreement; intraclass correlation; reliability of the measurement, smallest detectable change (SDC); standard error of the measurement (SEM). --- Sažetak Rad u kojem se raspravlja o relativnoj i apsolutnoj pouzdanosti utemeljen je na empirijskim motorickim podacima. Relativna pouzdanost određena je izracunavanjem koeficijenata intraklas korelacije (ICC; Shrout i Fleiss, 1979; Nunnally i Berstein, 1994). Određivanje apsolutne pouzdanosti izvedeno je izracunavanjem standardne pogreske mjerenja (SEM) i dodatno izracunavanjem najmanjih uocljivih promjena (smallest detectable change; SDC; de Veet i sur., 2006a,b), relativno nove mjere koja potjece iz klinickih disciplina, a sve vecu primjenu nalazi i u drugim podrucjima. U radu je upotrijebljen i Bland-Altmanova metoda (1986, 1995) određivanja razina slaganja (limits of agreement; LOA), odnosno biasa između dva mjerenja. Dobiveni su visoki ICC koeficijenti i suženi limiti pouzdanosti, no ICC koeficijenti su prikrili neke razlike u ponovljenim izvedbama testa koje su uocene primjenom SEM i Bland-Altman metode. Kao sto su naveli Hopkins (2000), Atkinson i Nevill (1998) u istraživanjima pouzdanosti treba primijeniti vise mjera.
