Abstract: Teaching students and managing their performances is a challenging task, and there are several ways to manage them. When students are grouped, their performance is much more fruitful and productive, but managing them is difficult. This research aims to find social studies teacher perspectives regarding managing group work in the elite school classroom. This study incorporated a qualitative phenomenological research design to explore social studies teachers' challenges when managing group work in their class. Purposive sampling was used to collect data from elite school social studies teachers.Semi-structured interviews were used to explore the beliefs of elite school teachers regarding group work.The study's findings suggest that group work is a general and rich approach often used by social studies teachers in elite schools. Social studies teachers face many challenges in managing group work.Moreover, students also complain about their dissatisfaction with their group members. However, it is also noted that group work increases efficiency and productivity in students and makes the classroom an interactive place to study.

Abstract: This study aimed to explore the influence of virtual professional training on teachers' online classroom management practices. Five teachers teaching at an early years branch of a reputed private school in Lahore were selected through purposive sampling employing the criterion sampling technique.The study is qualitative, incorporating a hermeneutic phenomenology research design. Semi-structured interviews were conducted to collect data. Thematic analysis was done to extract findings. The study concluded that prompt, professional training of the teachers provides confidence, updates their knowledge and pedagogies, introduces them to the latest techniques and strategies, and improves their management skills. Teachers, therefore, are needed to be trained well before time, keeping in mind the changing dynamics of the education sector.

Abstract: English language proficiency is an important indicator for better academic achievement of students, where the English is second language. The current study aims to identify the relationship between English language proficiency and the academic performance of students enrolled in higher education institutions. The data was collected from three hundred respondents enrolled in undergraduate programs in two higher education institutions. The data was collected through an English proficiency test developed by the British council. The data was analyzed through descriptive statistics and correlation analysis, the results indicate that there is a significant positive relationship between language proficiency and academic performance. Thus led to the recommendation to arrange more trainings/ courses for language proficiency of students at the undergraduate level.

Abstract: The research study aimed to investigate the perspectives of students regarding Abusive supervision in their division of secondary education. The design of the research study was descriptive and quantitative in nature. A survey method was used for data from the sample of the study. The population of the study consisted of students of government boys' secondary school districts in Lahore. Thirty-one secondary schools were taken as a sample through the lottery method. There were 150 students from the secondary level taken as a sample through a random sampling technique. A survey questionnaire was distributed among students after taking permission from the school head through a consent letter. The response rate was 95%. The researcher used a self-developed questionnaire for data collection. Data were analyzed through frequency, mean score and standard deviation of each statement was calculated. It was concluded that abusive supervision has become a serious problem at the secondary school level which may be solved.

Abstract: Industry has broadened the job scope for engineers. Engineers have to perform multiple projects in terms of technical and non-technical. Technical skills require integration of communication skills in modern industry. This research attempted to discover communication skills significance for novice engineers. Also, it explored communication skill training needed for novice engineers. A purposive sampling research design was employed to draw the results. Twenty (20) final year engineering students participated in this qualitative study. The study research instrument was focus group interviews.Findings described that communication skills play a significant role for engineers in the work environment of modern industry. Moreover, inadequate communication skills training are provided to engineering students during study time. Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) should emphasize upon engineering universities of Pakistan to train engineering students in hard and soft skills.
