Abstract: Presento aqui media docena de pequenas contribuciones al conocimiento de la poesia espanola del siglo XV y a un cierto modo de entender el estudio de la literatura. Tres, que se llevan los dos tercios del libro, son nuevas e ineditas hasta ahora; las otras tres, viejas, casi antediluvianas, y publicadas en buena parte. Pero todas, ayer igual que hoy, comprueban que un texto no se deja explicar adecuadamente si no se contempla a la luz de los varios contextos -literarios y no literarios, en la sincronia y en la diacroniaen que por necesidad esta inserto.
