TL;DR: Various pixel-based techniques for image forgery detection, mainly copy-move and splicing techniques are discussed.
Abstract: With the advancement of the digital image processing software and editing tools, a digital image can be easily manipulated. The detection of image manipulation is very important because an image can be used as legal evidence, in forensics investigations, and in many other fields. The pixel-based image forgery detection aims to verify the authenticity of digital images without any prior knowledge of the original image. There are many ways for tampering an image such as splicing or copy-move, resampling an image (resize, rotate, stretch), addition and removal of any object from the image. In this paper we have discussed various pixel-based techniques for image forgery detection, mainly copy-move and splicing techniques.

Abstract: The paper first gives a brief overview of software for the computer aided design of control systems. It then discusses in more detail one of the most commonly used environments, namely MATLAB. Brief details of MATLAB are given before more detailed descriptions and applications of several menu driven programs developed in MATLAB are presented. These include simple linear and nonlinear packages for teaching various aspects of basic control engineering.

TL;DR: In this paper, the performance of carbon nanotubes (CNTs) has been investigated for on-chip VLSI interconnect applications. But, the authors focused on the performance degradation of traditional copper interconnects in terms of latency, power dissipation and induced crosstalk noise.
Abstract: In nanoscale regime, the performance of traditional copper interconnects degrades substantially in terms of latency, power dissipation and induced crosstalk noise. This is due to miniaturization of electronic devices and many-fold enhancement of interconnect lengths in very large-scale integrated (VLSI) circuits. However, carbon nanotubes (CNTs) due to their unique physical properties such as high thermal conductivity, current carrying capability and mechanical strength have drawn the attention of researchers in recent times. The present paper provides comprehensive investigations in the various CNT structures for on-chip VLSI interconnect applications. Different configurations of CNT structures are studied namely single-wall CNT (SWCNT), multiwall CNT (MWCNT) and mixed-wall CNT bundle (MCB). The performance of CNT interconnects is analyzed using driver-interconnect-load system. It is investigated that the reduction in propagation delay in MCB interconnect is nearly 69%, 60%, 40% and 22% as compar...

TL;DR: In this article, a basic model of image degradation/restoration process and a review of spatio-temporal and frequency domain filters for restoration of noisy images are presented. But the authors do not discuss the effect of noise and blur.
Abstract: Image restoration is the operation of taking a degraded image and estimating the clean image. Degradation in an image occurs primarily due to blur and noise. Restoration attempts to reconstruct or recover an image that has been degraded by using apriori knowledge of the degradation phenomenon. Thus restoration techniques are oriented toward modeling the degradation and applying the inverse process in order to recover the original image. This paper starts with basic model of image degradation/restoration process and proceeds towards enlisting commonly occurring blurs and noises. Thereafter, it reviews some spatial and frequency domain filters for restoration of noisy images.
