Abstract: The present system has problems if transportation of LPG gas cylinders and its supply delay. This system has many disadvantages like lengthy process, time consuming, quite costly. To overcome above problem we can implement prepaid LPG gas metering and control system. In this system the gas will be supplied to the consumer through pipelines with a unit mounted over it for measurement and control of LPG gas. A prepaid gas card will be issued to every consumer with a unique costumer code. The amount of gas needed to consumer will be written in the memory i.e. prepaid gas card. The unit will continuously measure the gas flow through it and stop the supply when units (in kgs) of gas in the card become zero. In this system there will be two modes charging and consuming. In charging mode for a typical amount (Rs) typical units of gas will be charged and in the consumption mode measuring and controlling of gas is done. Solenoid valve is used as final element. The system can be made more and more fail-safe and reliable by using electronic circuitry. No doubt the implementation cost will be high

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors explore performance measurement practices in the context of the hospitality industry and propose a framework for the selection of appraisal methods and compare some performance appraisal methods in order to facilitate the selection process for organizations.
Abstract: The purpose of this study is to explore performance measurement practices in the context of hospitality industry in New-Delhi. Performance appraisal (PA) is increasingly becoming a part of strategic approach to integrate HR activities and business policies. PA refers to all those procedures that are used to evaluate the personality, the performance, and the potential of its group members. Performance appraisal is a powerful tool to provide management valuable information regarding the quality of its human resource. Performance appraisal is a key decisive factor of success in service (hospitality) organizations. The reason being that in the service sector there is no tangible output. The service is produced and consumed/sold at the same moment. So, the chances of rejecting or controlling the quality of the service - in contrast to industries producing tangible goods - before it reaches the hands of consumers is very limited. The intangibility of services in hospitality industry, poses a number of problems for the measurement of quality and customer satisfaction. Performance appraisal thus becomes all the more critically important in service industries than in other type of industries. In this paper, we propose a framework for the selection of appraisal methods and compare some performance appraisal methods in order to facilitate the selection process for organizations. The value of this framework lies in its use. Organisations can evaluate their performance appraisal method with respect to the key features of it, before implementing any method as well as expending extra costs.

TL;DR: Reversible data hiding in encrypted images is in used due to its excellent property which is original cover can be recovered with no loss after extraction of the embedded data.
Abstract: There is good potential for practical applications such as encrypted image authentication, content owner identification and privacy protection, reversible data hiding in encrypted image has attracted increasing attention in recent year. Data hiding is the technique by which some data is hidden into a cover media. Data hiding can be done in audio, video, image, text, and picture. we use image for data hiding especially digital images. The data may be any text related to the image such as authentication data or author information. At the receiver side it must be able to extract the hidden data and original image. A data hiding technique satisfying this requirement is known as reversible data hiding. Reversible data hiding is a type of data hiding techniques whereby the host image can be recovered exactly. Being lossless makes this technique suitable for medical, military applications and cloud storage. In cloud storage, a content owner can encrypt an image to preserve his/her privacy, and upload the encrypted data onto cloud. Reversible data hiding in encrypted image , which can recover the original image without any distortion from the marked image after the hidden data have been extracted. Now a days reversible data hiding in encrypted images is in used due to its excellent property which is original cover can be recovered with no loss after extraction of the embedded data. Also it protect the original data. Existing reversible data hiding methods in encrypted images (RDHEI) can be divided into two categories: without or with a preprocessing before image encryption.

Abstract: As wide area of web grows at a very fast pace, there has been increased interest in techniques that help efficiently locate wide web interfaces. However, due to the large volume of web resources and the dynamic nature of deep web, achieving large coverage and high efficiency is a challenging issue. We propose a two-stage framework, namely Smart Crawler, for efficient harvesting wide web interfaces. In the first stage, It is site based searching for center pages with the help of search engines, it avoid to visit large number of pages. To achieve more accurate results for a focused crawl, It is ranking the websites to prioritize highly relevant ones for a given topic. In the second step, It searches fast in-site searching by extracting most relevant links with an adaptive link-ranking. To eliminate bias on visiting some it also contain highly relevant links in hidden web directories, we design a link tree data structure to achieve wider coverage for a website.

TL;DR: In CoAP, the notion of “notifications ” is introduced and a client can request a server that it wants to get notified when the value changes, and the server makes a note of the client request and notifies all registered clients.
Abstract: Internet of things (IoT) is an important part of a new generation of technology that every object no matter things or human could be connected to Internet. There are many wireless protocols such as IEEE 802.11 Series, 802.15 Series and Zigbee for communication between devices. However, considering a lot of small devices are unable to communicate efficiently with constrained resources, Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) has developed a lightweight protocol: Constrained Application Protocol (CoAP). In CoAP, the notion of “notifications ” is introduced. A client can request a server that it wants to get notified when the value changes. The server then makes a note of the client request (if it supports observation). From there on, when a value changes at server side, it notifies all registered clients. Abstract: In an era of employee shortages and increased service delivery demands, it is important to explore factors which contribute to the retention of employees who contribute a wealth of knowledge and experience to their organisations. Schuler and Jackson (2006:216) define retention as everything an employer does to encourage qualified and productive employees to continue working for the organisation. The main objective of retention is to reduce unwanted voluntary turnover by valuable people in the organisation. Together, effective recruitment and retention efforts attract individuals to the organisation and also increase the chance of retaining the individuals once they are hired. Different generations are currently in the workplace with their differences magnified as a result of the current fragmented, global, and highly technological world. The changes in the workplace, in society, and in organisations over the years have been massive. These changes, according to Fields (2001:19) have, to a great extent, caused the rules of the workplace to change.

TL;DR: This project is an attempt at constructing a simulation model using Network Simulator version:2 simulating use of heavy cryptographic algorithm protocol enhancing the security to another level and thus achieving privacy preservation and coordination among devices with a mobile ad hoc network i.e. MANET.
Abstract: If the fact is considered that IoT related technologies come with a high level of heterogeneity, with specific protocols developed with specific applications in mind, it is no surprise that the IoT landscape nowadays appears as highly fragmented. In the vision of the Internet of Things; IoT-Architecture wants to promote, a high level of interoperability that needs to be reached at the communication level as well as at the service and the information level, going across different platforms, but established on a common grounding. The designers of any distributed network system require the ability to study the system operations under a variety of scenarios before actually implementing them. Similarly, designers of a distributed transaction processing system need to study the performance of the system under a variety of load models as well as its time and response to failure conditions. Thus, the Internet of Things – Architecture Reference Model creates many opportunities for more direct integration and interaction; resulting in improved accuracy, efficiency and economical benefit. This is what is the main crux behind this project while it is an attempt at constructing a simulation model using Network Simulator version:2 simulating use of heavy cryptographic algorithm protocol enhancing the security to another level and thus achieving privacy preservation and coordination among devices with a mobile ad hoc network i.e. MANET which is a continuously self-configuring, infrastructure-less network of mobile devices connected wirelessly using AODV i.e. Ad hoc on demand Distance Vector as the routing protocol which establishes a route to a destination only on demand. This is thus an earnest and a sincere attempt using new techniques for enhancing and upgrading what the base paper SMARTIE may or may not perceive at all.

Abstract: Intake manifold & its components play crucial role in deciding the performance of an IC engine. Engine breathing can be easily related to the intake geometry as per the different researchers worldwide. Intake manifolds affect the volumetric efficiency which ultimately makes impact up on the engine power & torque. Conventional intake manifolds have fixed geometry & thus does not cater for the demand of wide range of engine speeds. This paper reviews the work done by various prominent researchers’ in the field of intake tuning & variable intake manifold. It can be easily concluded that for getting maximum volumetric efficiency throughout the engine operating speed the intake geometry needs to be changed. At lower engine speed intake length must be long for proper breathing of engine while at higher speeds intake length must be short. Considerable gain in torque & fuel economy can be observed with variable intake length manifold.

The device consists of linear blade which is operated with the help of the motor the power supply for the motor is by using battery. The battery can be charge by using power supply and solar panel. In case of any obstacles in the path it is sensed by using an IR sensor. If there is any variation then the device using free direction sensor and find the new path to travel. The above feature is enabled so that the damage to the hardware of the device is avoided. In future the automation of the device will play a vital role in world wide.
