TL;DR: This paper takes care of this open issue with a novel plan in view of strategies including polynomial-based validation labels and homomorphic straight authenticators and beats existing POR and PDP plans while giving the extra usefulness of deduplication.
Abstract: Information uprightness and capacity effectiveness are two essential necessities for distributed storage. Verification of Retrievability (POR) and Confirmation of Information Ownership (PDP) strategies guarantee information respectability for distributed storage. Evidence of Proprietorship (POW) enhances stockpiling proficiency by safely evacuating superfluously copied the information on the capacity server. Be that as it may, an insignificant blend of the two systems, with a specific end goal to accomplish both information trustworthiness and capacity proficiency, brings about non-minor duplication of metadata (i.e., validation labels), which repudiates the destinations of POW. Late endeavors to this issue present huge computational and correspondence costs and have likewise been demonstrated not secure. It requires another answer for bolster effective and secure information trustworthiness inspecting with capacity deduplication for distributed storage. In this paper, we take care of this open issue with a novel plan in view of strategies including polynomial-based validation labels and homomorphic straight authenticators. Our plan permits deduplication of both documents and their relating confirmation labels. Information respectability examining and capacity deduplication are accomplished all the while. Our proposed plan is likewise portrayed by consistent ongoing correspondence and computational cost on the client side. Open inspecting and group reviewing are both upheld. Henceforth, our proposed conspire beats existing POR and PDP plans while giving the extra usefulness of deduplication. We demonstrate the security of our proposed conspire in light of the Computational Diffie-Hellman issue, the Static Diffie-Hellman issue, and the t-Solid Diffie-Hellman issue. Numerical investigation and trial come about on Amazon AWS demonstrate that our plan is proficient and versatile.

Abstract: A reliable Ensemble Averaging(REA) is a proposed technique which provides an estimate of Associated Uncertainty Range and Reliability of future climate change projections for Indian summer monsoon (June- September), stimulated by the state of the art Coupled General Circulation Models (CGCMs) under Coupled Model Intercomparison Project 5 (CMIP5). An evaluation of historical as well as future (RCP4.5 scenario) simulations often CGCMs in the REA technique projects a mean monsoon warming of 1.215 0 C with an associated uncertainty range () of 0.22 0 C, and an all-India precipitation increase by 7.109 mm/ the month with an associated uncertainty ((P) of 2.592 mm/month for 2021–2050. REA technique also shows a considerable reduction in the uncertainty range compared with the simple average ensemble approach and is characterized by consistently high-reliability index in a comparative study with individual CGCMs. The results suggest achievability of REA methodology in constituting the realistic future Indian Monsoon Projections by preparing a performance model and a descriptive confluence criteria.

TL;DR: A system has been suggested which can periodically take images of the railway tracks and compared with the existing database of non-faulty track images on a continuous basis, and if a fault arises in the track section, the system will automatically detect the fault and necessary actions can be taken, to avoid any mis-happening.
Abstract: Computer vision can provide many potential advantages over manual methods of railway track inspection. Great levels of performance can be achieved through the automation of inspection using computer vision systems, as they allow scalable, quick, and cost-effective solutions to tasks otherwise unsuited to humans. At a minimum, railway track components can be objectively and quantitatively inspected, as the system does not suffer from fatigue or the subjectivity inherent with human inspectors. The digital nature of the data collection involved with a computer vision based method, archiving inspection results and trending of the data becomes feasible, leading to more advanced failure prediction models for maintenance scheduling and a more thorough understanding of railway track structure. In this research paper, a computer vision based method is presented. A system has been suggested which can periodically take images of the railway tracks and compared with the existing database of non-faulty track images on a continuous basis. If a fault arises in the track section, the system will automatically detect the fault and necessary actions can be taken, to avoid any mis-happening.

TL;DR: This paper presents an elaborate classification of the possible attacks against RPL in IoT network, and analyzed and compared the severity of these attacks.
Abstract: With the advancement in mobile computing and wireless communications, a new paradigm called Internet of Things is generating a lot of research interest and the industrial revolution. The increasing interest for this paradigm has resulted in the large-scale deployment of Low power and Lossy Networks (LLN), such as wireless sensor networks and home automation systems. These networks are typically composed of many embedded devices with limited power, memory, and processing resources interconnected by a variety of links, such as IEEE 802.15.4 or low-power Wi-Fi. These networks have a wide scope of applications such as industrial monitoring, connected home, healthcare, environmental monitoring, urban sensor networks, energy management, and assets tracking etc.RFC 7228. In order to address the specific properties and constraints of these networks, RPL (Routing Protocol for low power Lossy network) has been developed by the IETF working group [ROLL WG]. RPL is a lightweight, rank based routing protocol. However, this routing protocol is exposed to various attacks which can significantly impact the network resources and its performance. This paper presents an elaborate classification of the possible attacks against RPL in IoT network. Further, we have analyzed and compared the severity of these attacks.

TL;DR: In this article, the quality characteristic (tensile strength and nugget diameter) parameters have been considered using Taguchi Method and experimental studies have been carried out by varying welding currents, welding pressure and welding times for joining two sheets.
Abstract: Resistance spot welding (RSW) is a major sheet metal joining process in many industries, such as the automobile, domestic appliances, and space craft fabrication. It is one of the oldest of the electric welding processes in use by industry today. Furthermore, other metal-to-metal connections, such as wire-to-wire joints in the electronics industry, are accomplished by resistance spot welding. Application-specific measures, such as the diameter of the welding spot, define the quality of the joint. The weld is made by a combination of heat, pressure, and time parameters. As the name implies, it uses the resistance of the materials to the flow of electric current that causes a localized heating in the parts to be joined. Understanding of physical mechanisms for easily manipulating and controlling weld qualities in advance is extremely important. This paper represents the optimization of various parameters of resistance spot welding. The experimental studies have been conducted under varying pressure, welding current, pressure, and welding time parameters. In this investigation the quality characteristic (tensile strength and nugget diameter) parameters have been considered using Taguchi Method. The experimental studies have been carried out by varying welding currents, welding pressure and weld times for joining two sheets. The results of the investigation indicate the welding current to be the most significant parameter controlling the weld tensile strength as well as the nugget diameter. The contribution of welding current, holding time and pressure to tensile strength are 61%, 29%, 4% respectively and the contribution of these parameters to nugget diameter are 81%, 1.7%, 17% respectively. Relationship graphs have been plotted between tensile strength and nugget diameter with parametric variations according to orthogonal array.

TL;DR: In this paper, a statistical analysis of polypropylene fiber reinforced concrete by comparing various properties such as compressive strength, tensile strength, workability properties with various content of fiber (0, 0.5, 1% and 1.5%).
Abstract: The capability of durable structure to resist weathering action and other degradation processes during its service life with the minimal maintenance is equally important as the capacity of a structure to resist the loads applied on it. Although concrete offers many advantages regarding mechanical characteristics, the brittle behaviour of the material remains a larger handicap for the seismic and other applications where flexible behaviour is essentially required. Reinforcement with randomly distributed short fibers presents an effective approach to the stabilization of the crack and improving the ductility and tensile strength of concrete. PolyPropylene(PP) fiber reinforcement is considered to be an effective method for improving the shrinkage cracking characteristics, toughness, and impact resistance of concrete materials. In the present study, we are carrying out the statistical analysis of PolyPropylene fiber reinforced concrete by comparing various properties such as compressive strength, tensile strength, workability properties with various content of fiber (0%,0.5%,1% and 1.5%).

TL;DR: In this article, the Cipher text-Policy ABE (CP-ABE) is proposed for secure data retrieval in Disruption-Tolerant Network (DTN) environments.
Abstract: Mobile nodes in military environments such as a battlefield or a hostile region are likely to suffer from intermittent network connectivity and frequent partitions. Disruption tolerant network (DTN) technologies are becoming successful solutions that allow wireless devices carried by soldiers to communicate with each other and access the confidential information or command reliably by exploiting external storage nodes. Disruption- tolerant network (DTN) technologies are becoming successful solutions that allow nodes to communicate with each other in these extreme networking environments. Typically, when there is no end-to-end connection between a source and a destination pair, the messages from the source node may need to wait in the intermediate nodes for a substantial amount of time until the connection would be eventually established. The concept of attribute-based encryption (ABE) is a promising approach that fulfills the requirements for secure data retrieval in DTNs. Especially, Cipher text-Policy ABE (CP-ABE) provides a scalable way of encrypting data such that the encrypt defines the attribute set that the decrypt needs to possess in order to decrypt the cipher text. Thus, different users are allowed to decrypt different pieces of data per the security policy.

TL;DR: This work presents an algorithm based on the meta- heuristic optimization technique where the best of two algorithms Ant colony Optimization and Particle Swarm Optimization are merged to optimize locally and globally which minimizes the overall workflow time (makespan) and reduces the cost.
Abstract: Those days are gone when storing and accessing of data were done on computer’s hard drive. Now with innovation in technology and with the great success of Internet Computing resources have become more economical, more powerful and more ubiquitously available than ever before. This technological trend of the 21st century has given birth to the realization of a new computing model called Cloud Computing. This Computing is not only about the hard drives were storing and accessing can be done but it is latest computing paradigm and it offers tremendous opportunities to solve the large-scale scientific problem. To fully exploit the applications of cloud, various challenges need to be addressed where scheduling is one among them. Although catholic research has been done on Workflow Scheduling, there are very few edges tailored for Cloud environments. For some basic principles of Cloud such as elasticity and heterogeneity existing work fails to meet optimal solution. Therefore our work focuses on the scheduling strategies for scientific workflow on IaaS cloud. We present an algorithm based on the meta- heuristic optimization technique where the best of two algorithms Ant colony Optimization (ACO) and Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) are merged to optimize locally and globally which minimizes the overall workflow time (makespan) and reduces the cost. Our heuristic is evaluated using CloudSim and several well-known scientific workflows of different sizes. The results show that our approach performs better when compared to PSO algorithm.

TL;DR: In this paper, it is proposed that we may use waste plastic in the construction of Rural Roads. But this plastic can create stagnation of water and associated hygiene problems, which can prove to be toxic in nature.
Abstract: Plastic found in different forms is almost 5% amongst municipal solid waste, which can prove to be toxic in nature. It is a common sight in both urban and rural areas to find empty plastic bags and another type of plastic packing material littering the roads as well as drains. Due to its biodegradability, it creates stagnation of water and associated hygiene problems. In order to contain this problem experiments have been carried out whether this waste plastic can be reused productively in the construction of roads. The experimentation at several institutes indicated that the waste plastic, when added to hot aggregate will form a fine coat of plastic over the aggregate and such aggregate, when mixed with the binder is found to give higher strength, higher resistance to water and better performance over a period of time. Therefore, it is proposed that we may use waste plastic in the construction of Rural Roads.
