TL;DR: In this paper, the correlations among seminal plasma Magnesium (Mg), Phosphorus (P), Potassium (K), Calcium (Ca), Chromium (Cr), Manganese (Mn), Iron (Fe), Copper (Cu), Zinc (Zn), Selenium (Se), Molybdenum (Mo) and Iodine (Iodine) were investigated.
Abstract: To investigate the correlations among seminal plasma Magnesium (Mg), Phosphorus (P), Potassium (K), Calcium (Ca), Chromium (Cr), Manganese (Mn), Iron (Fe), Copper (Cu), Zinc (Zn), Selenium (Se), Molybdenum (Mo) and Iodine (I) concentrations and semen parameters [1– 15]. 500 fertile and 1000 infertile males provided a standardized semen specimen. Total Magnesium (Mg), Phosphorus (P), Potassium (K), Calcium (Ca), Chromium (Cr), Manganese (Mn), Iron (Fe), Copper (Cu), Zinc (Zn), Selenium (Se), Molybdenum (Mo) and Iodine (I) concentrations were determined by Flame Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy (FAAS), Attenuated Total Reflection Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (ATR–FTIR), Energy–Dispersive X– Ray Spectroscopy (EDX), UV–Vis spectroscopy and FT–Raman spectroscopy. Semen analysis was performed according to the SigmaAldrich Corporation guidelines. The strong and positive correlation was found among seminal plasma Magnesium (Mg), Phosphorus (P), Potassium (K), Calcium (Ca), Chromium (Cr), Manganese (Mn), Iron (Fe), Copper (Cu), Zinc (Zn), Selenium (Se), Molybdenum (Mo) and Iodine (I) concentrations (p<0.001). Also, positive correlation was found among Magnesium (Mg), Phosphorus (P), Potassium (K), Calcium (Ca), Chromium (Cr), Manganese (Mn), Iron (Fe), Copper (Cu), Zinc (Zn), Selenium (Se), Molybdenum (Mo) and Iodine (I) concentrations and vitality and motility (p<0.0001). On the other hand, there is negative correlation among Magnesium (Mg), Phosphorus (P), Potassium (K), Calcium (Ca), Chromium (Cr), Manganese (Mn), Iron (Fe), Copper (Cu), Zinc (Zn), Selenium (Se), Molybdenum (Mo) and Iodine (I) concentrations and abnormal morphology (Figures 1–3). Therefore, the present data indicated that Magnesium (Mg), Phosphorus (P), Potassium (K), Calcium (Ca), Chromium (Cr), Manganese (Mn), Iron (Fe), Copper (Cu), Zinc (Zn), Selenium (Se), Molybdenum (Mo) and Iodine (I) concentrations could be useful factor in determination of semen quality.

TL;DR: This paper proposes filtering techniques for the removal of speckle noise from the digital images by using signal to noise ration and noise level is measured by the standard deviation.
Abstract: Reducing noise from the medical images, a satellite image etc. is a challenge for the researchers in digital image processing. Several approaches are there for noise reduction. Generally speckle noise is commonly found in synthetic aperture radar images, satellite images and medical images. This paper proposes filtering techniques for the removal of speckle noise from the digital images. Quantitative measures are done by using signal to noise ration and noise level is measured by the standard deviation.

TL;DR: A recognition method in which the vehicle plate image is obtained by the digital cameras and the image is processed to get the number plate information and a rear image of a vehicle is captured and processed using various algorithms.
Abstract: Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) is a mass surveillance system that captures the image of vehicles and recognizes their license number. ANPR can be assisted in the detection of stolen vehicles. The detection of stolen vehicles can be done in an efficient manner by using the ANPR systems located in the highways. This paper presents a recognition method in which the vehicle plate image is obtained by the digital cameras and the image is processed to get the number plate information. A rear image of a vehicle is captured and processed using various algorithms. In this context, the number plate area is localized using a novel „feature-based number plate localizationâ method which consists of many algorithms. But our study mainly focusing on the two fast algorithms i.e., Edge Finding Method and Window Filtering Method for the better development of the number plate detection system.

TL;DR: It was shown that the KF approach outperformed DRonly approach, but comparable performance with KF was noticed when DR is combined with correction mode, and a combination of RV correction mode with forward KF solution was shown to improve the position output.
Abstract: Zero Velocity Update (ZUPT) is an important update to aid an autonomous inertial pedestrian navigation. The objectives of this paper are to briefly revisit the concept of ZUPT and its importance, testing it on real walking pedestrian and comparing its performance when used with either conventional ‘Dead Reckoning approach (DR)’ or with ‘Kalman Filter approach (KF)’ as either one of these approaches is commonly used in literature. Performances were analyzed further with the inclusion of two correction modes (Linearly Weighted Interpolation and Residual Velocity). Experiments were performed using a low cost Inerital Measurement Unit (IMU) from MicroStrain (3DM-GX1). It was shown that the KF approach outperformed DRonly approach, but comparable performance with KF was noticed when DR is combined with correction mode. Finally, a combination of RV correction mode with forward KF solution was shown to improve the position output.

TL;DR: This paper provides a framework, Education Cloud for the e- management of NGO's and presents the case study of Kalgidhar trust, Baru Sahib, Himachal Pradesh, NGO which is using the education as the tool to solve the social issues.
Abstract: Cloud computing is an emerging new computing paradigm for delivering computing services. This computing approach relies on a number of existing technologies, e.g., the Internet, virtualization, grid computing, Web services, etc. Cloud Computing aims to provide scalable and inexpensive on-demand computing infrastructures with good quality of service levels. It represents a shift away from computing as a product that is purchased, to computing as a service that is delivered to consumers from the cloud. It helps an organization in saving costs and creating new business opportunities. This paper provides a framework, Education Cloud for the e- management of NGO’s. The Education Cloud can transform a nonprofit, or an entire sector of nonprofits, achieves its mission and creates lasting impact in its communities. This paper also presents the case study of Kalgidhar trust, Baru Sahib, Himachal Pradesh, NGO which is using the education as the tool to solve the social issues.
