TL;DR: The results of this study show that the extended fuzzy EDAS method is efficient and has good tability for solving MCDM problems.
Abstract: In the real-world problems, we are likely confronted with some alternatives that eed to be evaluated with respect to multiple conflicting criteria. Multi-criteria ecision-making (MCDM) refers to making decisions in such a situation. There are any methods and techniques available for solving MCDM problems. The evaluation ased on distance from average solution (EDAS) method is an efficient multi-criteria ecision-making method. Because the uncertainty is usually an inevitable part of he MCDM problems, fuzzy MCDM methods can be very useful for dealing with the eal-world decision-making problems. In this study, we extend the EDAS method o handle the MCDM problems in the fuzzy environment. A case study of supplier election is used to show the procedure of the proposed method and applicability of t. Also, we perform a sensitivity analysis by using simulated weights for criteria to xamine the stability and validity of the results of the proposed method. The results f this study show that the extended fuzzy EDAS method is efficient and has good tability for solving MCDM problems.

TL;DR: A fuzzy multi-attribute perfor- mance measurement (MAPM) framework is proposed using the merits of both a novel Weighted Aggregated Sum-Product Assessment method with Fuzzy values (WASPAS-F) and Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP).
Abstract: The purpose of this article is to propose a fuzzy multi-attribute perfor- mance measurement (MAPM) framework using the merits of both a novel Weighted Aggregated Sum-Product Assessment method with Fuzzy values (WASPAS-F) and Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). The object of this study is to select the best shopping centre construction site in Vilnius. A number of conflicting qualitative and quantitative attributes exist for evaluating alternative construction sites. Qualitative attributes are accompanied by ambiguities and vagueness. This makes fuzzy logic a more natural approach to this kind of multi-attribute decision making (MADM) prob- lems. Fuzzy AHP is applied for assigning weights of the attributes and WASPAS-F method is used to determine the most suitable alternative.

TL;DR: This simple extension of spiking neural P systems is shown to considerably simplify the universality proofs in this area, where all rules become of the form bc → b′ or bc → lambda , where b,b′ are spikes or anti-spikes.
Abstract: Besides usual spikes employed in spiking neural P systems, we consider “anti-spikes", which participate in spiking and forgetting rules, but also annihilate spikes when meeting in the same neuron. This simple extension of spiking neural P systems is shown to considerably simplify the universality proofs in this area: all rules become of the form bc → b′ or bc → lambda , where b,b′ are spikes or anti-spikes. Therefore, the regular expressions which control the spiking are the simplest possi- ble, identifying only a singleton. A possible variation is not to produce anti-spikes in neurons, but to consider some “inhibitory synapses", which transform the spikes which pass along them into anti-spikes. Also in this case, universality is rather easy to obtain, with rules of the above simple forms.

TL;DR: This paper investigates the modeling of the personal driving style of various vehicle drivers based on several driving parameters to classify the drivers according to their risk-proneness within the larger context of increasing traffic safety, which is a major concern worldwide.
Abstract: This paper investigates the modeling of the personal driving style of various vehicle drivers based on several driving parameters. The purpose of such an endeavor is to classify the drivers according to their risk-proneness within the larger context of increasing traffic safety, which is a major concern worldwide. This information is valuable especially for those involved in fleet management and it can be used to improve and to make safer the driving style of various individuals who serve within that fleet. Equally important, such information could help any driver to see the danger within his or her driving style. Cluster and principal component analyses from exploratory statistics have been used to identify and explain drivers grouping according to their driving behavior. The driving parameters (behavioral indices) are collected from urban traffic by an in-house developed GPS-based device and sent to a

TL;DR: Based on Deng entropy, the information volume of mass function is presented in this paper and when the cardinal of the frame of discernment is identical, both the total uncertainty case and the BPA distribution of the maximum Deng entropy have the same information volume.
Abstract: Given a probability distribution, its corresponding information volume is Shannon entropy. However, how to determine the information volume of a given mass function is still an open issue. Based on Deng entropy, the information volume of mass function is presented in this paper. Given a mass function, the corresponding information volume is larger than its uncertainty measured by Deng entropy. In addition, when the cardinal of the frame of discernment is identical, both the total uncertainty case and the BPA distribution of the maximum Deng entropy have the same information volume. Some numerical examples are illustrated to show the efficiency of the proposed information volume of mass function.
