TL;DR: In this article, an isolate HMR37 was recovered from heavy metal polluted tailing site of Zawar, Udaipur on heavy metal amended nutrient agar medium having multiple metal tolerance.
Abstract: Heavy metal pollution has become one of the most serious environmental problems. The pollution of environment with toxic heavy metals is spreading throughout the world along with industrial progress. Developing bioremediation processes for soils and effluents contaminated by heavy metals is one of the most prime concern. For the same, extensive screening for the bacteria having tolerance to heavy metals such as zinc, cadmium, cobalt, nickel, copper and lead was attempted. During this isolate HMR37 was recovered from heavy metal polluted tailing site of Zawar, Udaipur on heavy metal amended nutrient agar medium having multiple metal tolerance. Based on the morphological, cultural and biochemical characterization, the isolate HMR37 presumptively identified as Pseudomonas putida . Tolerance of HMR37 strain based on their maximum tolerable concentrations (MTCs), was in the order of Zn>Cd=Co>Ni>Cu> Pb. Maximum growth of this isolate at threshold concentration of respective metal was found at pH 7.0 and temperature 37°C. This isolate can further be successfully exploited biotechnologically for the bioremediation of heavy metal contaminated environment.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors examined the impact of organizational commitment and perceived organizational support in promoting organizational citizenship behavior of teachers working with private sector universities in Pakistan, and concluded that organizational commitment is a factor that fairly depends upon organizational commitment.
Abstract: This paper examined the impact organizational commitment and perceived organizational support in promoting organizational citizenship behavior of teacher in private sector universities of Pakistan. The data were collected from 140 teachers working with private sector universities in Pakistan. Multiple methods in the form of regression analysis were used to check the hypothesis. The consequences of the study indicate that organizational citizenship behavior is a factor that fairly depends upon organizational commitment and also on perceived organizational support; furthermore, perceived organizational support and organizational commitment have considerable affirmative impact means it positively influence the organizational citizenship behavior of teaches working in private universities of Pakistan. This study is primarily driven tentatively by the social exchange theory that deliberately lends support to this paper for explaining the idea of perceived organizational support (POS), the norm of reciprocity, and also organizational support theory. This article adds value to the restricted literature regarding the psychological concept that causes the creation of organizational citizenship behavior through the perceptions of organizational support theory concept (Eisenberger et al., 2001; Eisenberger, et al., 1986) and the social exchange theory (Blau, 1964).The paper suggests that if private sector universities in Pakistan desire to cultivate organizational citizenship behavior among its teachers then they must chalk out and implement such strategies that increase employee commitment as well as perceived organizational support (POS). Keywords: Organizational citizenship behavior (OCB), Organizational commitment (OC), Perceived organizational support (POS), Pakistan

TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated the impact of Electronic Human Resource Management (E-HRM) on organization's profitability: An empirical study on the Housing Bank for Trade and Finance in Jordan.
Abstract: This study aimed to investigate the impact of Electronic Human Resource Management (E-HRM) on organization's profitability: An empirical study on the Housing Bank for Trade and Finance in Jordan. A review of literature shows that there is an absence of a theoretical model that describes the Electronic management (EM) in details. A review of normative literature states that there is an absence of theoretical model that describe the Human Resource Management (HRM) in detail. The study was found that there is a lack of empirical research regarding the integrating between EM and HRM to improve organization performance. Therefore, the researcher attempts to address these voids in literature by proposing integration between electronic management and human resource management. The research has confirmed the entire hypothesis which satisfies the research aim and objectives.

TL;DR: Open Educational Resources (OER) as mentioned in this paper provides a strategic opportunity to improve the quality of education and it is a sequence of knowledge activities that have the potential to open up new knowledge and collaborations and insights into teaching practice.
Abstract: In the modern age, higher education is an educational system, where teaching and learning process, develop and allocate through using digital technologies and the internet all over the world. The higher education system plays a leading role in social development and national economic developments. Open Education Resources (OER) in higher education are reaching a new phenomenon around the world, which may be seen as a part of a superior movement towards openness in higher education. With the development of OER, higher education are remarkable across worldwide and mission to create huge global information on the requirements of users to provide high quality learning materials. OER provides a strategic opportunity to improve the quality of education and it is a sequence of knowledge activities that have the potential to open up new knowledge and collaborations and insights into teaching practice. This paper mainly focused on OER movement and its impact on higher education. The Open Educational Resources (OER) create extensive educational opportunities, but unfortunately some hindrances also are there. Through proper practice of OER we overcome these hindrances. In this paper, we would like to explore some OER initiatives in India, which are developing the educational system in India. An important part which is listed in this article is the future scenario of OER in higher education, because no doubt that in future, the attachment of the umbrella term OCR in higher education is increasing rapidly to adopting new technology competencies and provides an information without any troubles.

TL;DR: A significantly positive correlation between premenstrual syndrome and social disability was noted by analysis of the data, which implies that when pre menstrual symptoms and/or their severity increases, the chances of social disability increases & vice versa.
Abstract: Background: A woman menstruation is believed to be suffering from premenstrual syndrome (PMS) when she experiences recurring physical and/or psychological symptoms occurring specifically during the luteal phase of the menstrual cycle and that often resolve by the end of the cycle (O'Brien, 1987) . Up to 75% of women experience some degree of premenstrual syndrome (PMS) during their reproductive years. Somatic symptoms, such as fatigue, appetite-changes, and low energy, and affective symptoms, such as irritability, depressed mood, anxiety, and impulsive behaviour constitute this condition. Impairment difficulties such as physical functioning, psychological health and severe dysfunction in social or occupational realms are believed to be possible causes of premenstrual symptoms. Poor health related quality of life in women with PMS and its negative effect on school functions and social interactions in young adolescents has been shown in some previous studies (Delara, Ghofranipour, Azadfallah, Tavafian, Kazemnejad, & Montazeri, 2012). Purpose: The main objective of this study is to examine the impact of premenstrual symptoms on social adjustment. Material And Methods: Around 40 randomly selected, healthy females, aged between 18-45 yrs.; experiencing regular menstrual cycle were administered the two questionnaires, ‘The Premenstrual Symptoms Screening tool (PSST)’ and ‘Sheehan Disability Scale (SDS)’, analyzing their degree of premenstrual symptoms and the effect of premenstrual syndrome on their daily life activities. Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient method has been used to analyse the relationship between premenstrual symptoms and its impact on social adjustment. Results: As per the average score obtained through premenstrual symptoms screening tool (PMSST), 16 (40%) of the women undergoing the survey were found to be suffering from mild form of premenstrual syndrome and interestingly 10 (25%) and 7 (18%) out of the total number of women (40) surveyed were having moderate and severe premenstrual syndrome respectively. Analysis of Sheehan Disability Scale revealed that out of 40 women surveyed, 19 (48%), 20 (50%) and 17 (43%) women experienced mild disruption in their work, social life and family life respectively accounting to the premenstrual symptoms. Likewise, moderately disrupted work, social life and family life was found to be experienced by 11 (28%), 13 (33%) and 15 (38%) respectively out of the total number of women being surveyed It was also evident from the responses of Sheehan Disability Scale that 58% of the women being surveyed had reduced productivity at work due to premenstrual symptoms. A significantly positive correlation between premenstrual syndrome and social disability was also noted by analysis of the data, which implies that when premenstrual symptoms and/or their severity increases, the chances of social disability increases & vice versa Conclusion: Most of the women experienced difficulties in their daily work, social life as well as family life to a certain extent pertaining to mild to moderate premenstrual symptoms. Moreover, with increase in severity of the premenstrual symptoms, the productivity at work also tends to decrease thereby indicating a positive correlation between premenstrual symptoms and social disability.
