TL;DR: An empirical analysis of 74 publications in the fleld of automatediations shows that most of the items imply incomplete or uncertain information, but mainly related to the negotiation partner.
Abstract: The following article is a dissertation project in progress paper. It shows the results of an empirical analysis of 74 publications in the fleld of automated ne- gotiations. The results show that most of the items (66) imply incomplete or uncertain information, but mainly related to the negotiation partner. Only 12 of them are related to the negotiation item. Despite the advantages of the argumentation-based negotiation (20, 45) there is no such model that implies incomplete or uncertain infor- mation related to the negotiation item. There is a need of research activities.

TL;DR: A performance analysis and a comparison of the Grasshopper and Jade agent platforms is presented, which focuses on the measurement of average round trip times needed for a circular exchange of messages, the data transferred during a certain period of time, and message overhead.
Abstract: In this paper, a performance analysis and a comparison of the Grasshopper and Jade agent platforms is presented. The analysis focuses on the measurement of average round trip times (RTT) needed for a circular exchange of messages, the data transferred during a certain period of time, and message overhead. Tests were performed with different message sizes and coding techniques and the obtained results are presented. A case study was conducted which includes a comparison of two versions of a multi-agent system, called Multi-Agent Remote Maintenance Shell (MARMS), based on two different agent platforms. Presented is a performance analysis of the execution- of management operations on the two versions tested. The analysis focuses on two parameters: the time needed for operation completion and the traffic generated during execution.

TL;DR: A fold-down storage rack for permitting the storage of fishing rods across a ceiling includes first and second rack supports, and a pair of parallel rods pivoted to one rack support and including a ridging end member between the rods.
Abstract: A fold-down storage rack for permitting the storage of fishing rods across a ceiling includes first and second rack supports, and a pair of parallel rods pivoted to one rack support and including a ridging end member between the rods. The second rack support is parallel to the first rack support and includes a holding bracket coupled thereto and movably engageable with the end member for holding the rack in a storage position substantially parallel with the ceiling, and disengageable to permit the storage rack to be pivoted away from the ceiling.

TL;DR: The idea of knowledge networks is detailed by outlining the characteristics that they should exhibit and by sketching a possible architectural approach for knowledge networks.
Abstract: The increasing ubiquity of sensing, computing and communication devices is forming the basis of a “smart world infrastructure”, with the potential to offer us panoply of innovative pervasive services. However, it also calls for such services to operate in a situation-aware and fully autonomic way. To achieve this, services would require a high degree of supporting knowledge about the social, computational, and physical environments in which they are situated, as well as self-knowledge about their own functioning. While the technology to acquire these types of knowledge is increasingly available, environments and services can actually get ‘smarter’ only via the availability of properly represented and widely accessible “networks of knowledge”, which can provide – via self-organization – for pruning, aggregating, correlating, the available knowledge, so as to facilitate their exploitation by components and services. In this paper, after having introduced the general vision of smart world infrastructures, we detail our idea of knowledge networks by outlining the characteristics that they should exhibit and by sketching a possible architectural approach for knowledge networks.
