Abstract: Object: To find effective herb medicine having the potency of reversing multidrug resistance (MDR) Method:Dauricine, one kind of herd medicine,has been selected to study its reversal effect to K562/ADM cell line comparing with verapamil as positive control Results:Dauricine can reduce the value of IC50 of adrimycin and incristine against MDR cell line K562/ADM at non-cytotoxic concentration and enhance accumulation of adriamycin and daunorubicin, but cause no change in the expression of P-170Conclusion:Dauricine can reverse MDR of K562/ADM to some extent

Abstract: To observe the antiarrhythmic effects of matrine(MT). Arrhythmic model was maked by in jection iv of aconitine ,or barium chloride or calcium choride-acetylcholine mixture in rats. MT 15×10 -6 and 30×10 -6 could it markedly inhib markedly the ventricular arrhythmias induced by aconitine 20×10 -9 or BCL 2×10 -6 or coronary ligation in rat. It also obviously reduced the incidence of atrium fibrillation produced by CCL-Ach (CaCl 20.6%+Ach 0.0 025%) 10 ml/kg in mice. These actions were similar to Quinidine. The ECG of rats was significantly P-R chan-ged after i.v of MT 15×10 -6 . MT slows the heart rate and prolongs the P-R and Q-T intervals. [Conclusion] Matrine has obvious ontiarrhythmic effect in rats.

Abstract: Objective: To evaluate the effect of corticosteroid on the prevention of PHN of the elderly people. Methods : Comparison between the ritual treatment and the ritual one with added Triamcinolone Tablets is carried out over the 178 cases (They are over 60 years old). Results : The rate of cure and effectiveness in the experimental group is superior to the other. There is statistically remarkable difference between them about the rate of occurrence of PHN ( P 0.01). Conclusion: The study confirms the function of corticosteroid in the prevention of PHN of the elderly people.
