TL;DR: Several physiological property of ostrich semen were examined and it was found that the spermatozoa could only survive for about 24 hours when the semen was untereated or diluted 2 times with MEM and stored at 5℃.
Abstract: Several physiological property of ostrich semen were examined.Semen volume per ejaculation was 0.17~2.03 mL with spermatozoa concentration of one billion five hundred seventy million per milliliter,pH 6.7~7.3,motility 0.78~ 0.92 ,morphological abnormality rate 3.09%~13.3%. The mean survival time of spermatozoa was 72 hours when the semen was diluted 2 times with MEM and stored at 5℃.When the semen was untereated or diluted 2 time with 0.85% NaCl solution and stored at the same temprature, the spermatozoa could only survive for about 24 hours.

TL;DR: Cross breeding was conducted with male fox from Finland and locally bredfemale Arctic fox to increase the utilization rate of male foxes and pregnant rate of femalefoxes and increased the profit of fox farming industry.
Abstract: Cross breeding was conducted with male fox from Finland and locally bredfemale Arctic fox.Artificial insemination and semen frozen preservation techniqueswere used to increase the utilization rate of male foxes and pregnant rate of femalefoxes. Thus increased the profit of fox farming industry.

TL;DR: Genetic parameters of more than 20 quantity characters have been analyzed in 6 varieties or strains including sika deer and red deer farmed in China and show that variation coefficients are low except for fresh antler weight.
Abstract: Genetic parameters of more than 20 quantity characters have been analyzed in 6 varieties or strains including sika deer and red deer farmed in China. The statistical results show that variation coefficients are low except for fresh antler weight. Big selection difference in antler weight was found due to low ratio of stags being selected for breeding. Both heritibility and repeatability of antler weight were high. Both deer species have short interval between generations. Genetic achievement and yearly improvement of fresh antler weight were high. The duration for breeding for sika deer stags was shorter than for red deer stags. The performance, in terms of fresh antler weight and breeding survival rate, of F 1 of the hybrids between varieties or strains of sika deer and between subspecies of red deer was significantly higher ( P 0.01). The results obtained in this study could provide useful tools for deer breeding.

TL;DR: Chinese Rangifer tarandus not only have high economic value and devel-opmental potential but also is the material base which Ewenke nationality lived on, but for a long time, with poor breeding technique and management, quality of the Animal is declined and it's quantity reduced rapidly.
Abstract: Chinese Rangifer tarandus not only have high economic value and devel-opmental potential but also is the material base which Ewenke nationality lived on.but for a long time, with poor breeding technique and management, quality of thespecies group of the Animal is declined and it's quantity reduced rapidly. We shouldadopt positive measure to protect and use the rare resource of the species.

TL;DR: During September and October, 1999, a virus disease infected masked civet in a masked cvet breeding farm in Hunan province, and this virus reacted with anti serum of canine micro virus, indicating that the virus has the same antigen with caninemicro virus.
Abstract: During September and October, 1999, a virus disease infected masked civet in a masked civet breeding farm in Hunan province. Of 187 infected animals, 156 were dead in 60 days, of which young animals were the majority. The incidence and mortality of young animals (born in the same year) were 66 0% and 96.2%, respectively. According to epidemiology, clinic syndrome, pathological changes and results of serum test, separation of pathogen, electronic microscope test and biological test, the disease was confirmed to be caused by virus. This virus reacted with anti serum of canine micro virus, indicating that the virus has the same antigen with canine micro virus. The disease was effectively under control by vaccinating healthy animals and other comprehensive prevention measures.

TL;DR: It was found that the disease was due to the incorrect breeding-methods and the exces-sively mantle-inserted operation, and the main cause of disease was the surplus fertilizertransported into water which brought about the over-nutrition-level.
Abstract: In this article, the epidemic diseases of Hyriopsis cumingii during thepearl-growing period were investigated.By the means of pathological anatomy, itwas found that the disease was due to the incorrect breeding-methods and the exces-sively mantle-inserted operation. The main cause of disease was the surplus fertilizertransported into water which brought about the over-nutrition-level.It is suggestedthat the water sample should be examined regularly in aspect of BOD, N, P, SS,pH and the amount of germ; that some new technology can be applied in the man-tle-inserted operation, and that the cultured cell of mantle can be used to the pearl-cultured operation instead of the mantle tissue.
