TL;DR: The results indicated that the Esterase Isoenzyme of Monopterus albus consisted of two polymorphic loci: EST-A, EST-B, which showed the heavy colored albus and the latentcolored albus belong to the same clade, and the thin coloredAlbus belongs to another clade.
Abstract: Researches were accomplished on the genetic structure of three kinds of bodily color Monopterus albus with Esterase Isoenzyme. The results indicated that the Esterase Isoenzyme of Monopterus albus consisted of two polymorphic loci: EST-A, EST-B. The percentage of polymorphic loci of every population was 100%. The heterozygosity values ranged from 0.435 1~0.464 6. Results also showed that higher variation on genetic locus of Esterase Isoenzyme existed in three kinds of bodily color Monopterus albus. Genetic variations mostly arose within the population. The inner-population genetic variation accounts for 99.66% of the total genetic variations and the inter-population genetic variation accounts for 0.34% . Phylogenetic tree showed the heavy colored albus and the latent colored albus belong to the same clade, and the thin colored albus belongs to another clade.

TL;DR: What is currently known about the local and systemic regulation of antler development and regeneration and some of the related unsolved questions of antlers physiology is discussed.
Abstract: There is a unique model of mammalian organ regeneration and wound repair. But the underlying mechanisms of regeneration remain poorly understood. This article reviews what is currently known about the local and systemic regulation of antler development and regeneration and some of the related unsolved questions of antler physiology is discussed. Molecules that have been identified as having potentially important local roles in antlers include parathyroid hormone-related peptide, retinoic acid (RA) and insulin-like growth factors (IGFs). All of them are present in the blastema and in the rapidly growing antler where they regulate the differentiation of chondrocytes, osteoblasts and osteoclasts. The trigger that regulates the expression of these local signals is likely to be changing levels of sex steroids because the process of antler regeneration is linked to the reproductive cycle.

TL;DR: In comparison with 1989, the amount of Pseudois nayaur decreased, while that of Gazella subguturosa increased, and those of the others were stable, which affected on the changes of the ungulate amount in Yanchiwan Natural Reserve.
Abstract: The Yanchiwan Natural Reserve situated in the southern of Subei County is a natural reserve for conserving wild animal, especially for alpine ungulate. In order to know the change of ungulate species resources since 1987,we investigated animal species, their amount and environmental conditions in August 2002.We recorded five ungulates: Procapra picticaudata,Equus kiang,Pseudois nayaur,Gazella subguturosa and Ovis ammon, among which the population sizes of Pseudois nayaur was the highest,0.8946 ind./km2.In comparison with 1989,the amount of Pseudois nayaur decreased, while that of Gazella subguturosa increased, and those of the others were stable.Soil erosion, degradation of grassland, insect and rodent destruction, fossicking and excessive hunting were the primary factors which affected on the changes of the ungulate amount in Yanchiwan Natural Reserve.
